You can add cash in store at CVS, Walgreens and Duane Reade™ by Walgreens locations in the U.S. It’s not available at CVS Pharmacy® locations inside Target stores. You can use the Capital One Mobile app to add cash to your 360 Checking account. Find a location near you.

Do I need to bring an ID to add cash in store?

Yes, bring your ID. Some stores may ask for your photo ID to verify your transaction if you’re adding a large amount.

The following IDs are accepted:

U.S. State-issued Driver's License or Learner's Permit (including Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
 State Issued Non-Driver ID
 U.S. Military ID (includes Common Access Card issued by the Department of Defense)
 U.S. Passport (book or card)

Kids without IDs should bring a parent or legal guardian with them to add cash. The adult on the account can show their ID instead to verify the transaction.

How do I add cash in store?

Visit a local Walgreens or CVS. FYI: Bring your ID—the cashier may ask for it.
 In your Capital One Mobile app, choose which eligible account you'd like to add cash to and enter the amount. For each account, add up to $1,500 a day and $5,000 per month. You can add cash up to 10 times a month. 
 Generate your barcode. For your security, each barcode can only be used once, and it’ll expire after 30 minutes. 
 Tell the store’s cashier you'd like to add cash to your Capital One account, and then show them the barcode. The cashier may ask for your photo ID too.
 Give your cash to the cashier, and they'll give you a receipt. Keep your receipt until the money’s in your account.
