How do I open an account and manage my money?
360 Checking accounts are available both online and in person at Capital One locations. If you’d prefer to bank online-only, you can make deposits and transfers using the Capital One mobile app, one of our deposit-taking ATMs, or by mailing in a check for deposit. To withdraw cash, just use your debit card wherever Mastercard® is accepted or at any of our 40,000+ ATM locations. If you need paper checks, you can order your first checkbook for free through your online account.

Nope, still no hidden fees. Using a Capital One 360 Checking account is fee-free, but let’s be totally upfront here: there may be some things you want or need to do with your account that will result in charges. If you overdraft on credit, request overnight check delivery, overnight delivery of a replacement card, a stop payment, or write a rejected check, there will be potential charges for these extra services.
What if I overdraft my account?
We’ve got you covered. You have several options to choose from: Auto-Decline, Next Day Grace and Free Savings Transfer.
Auto-Decline: we'll generally decline all transactions that would take your account into overdraft.
Next Day Grace: we'll pay for the overdraft transaction and you’ll get one business day to add more funds to your account to cover the balance.
Free Savings Transfer: automatically transfer funds from your 360 Savings account to take care of what you owe.

When you open your first 360 Checking account online, your contactless debit Mastercard will arrive in the mail within 6 business days. If you already have a 360 Checking account, use your existing debit card for both accounts. Can I add beneficiaries to a 360 Checking account?
Yes. You can assign up to 10 individuals as Payable on Death beneficiaries, which means that while you’re alive, the beneficiaries won’t have access to anything in the account. The only exception is that you cannot assign beneficiaries for a Trust account, where the trustee controls funds for another party. Assigning beneficiaries can give you peace of mind and can result in increased FDIC coverage for your accounts up to allowable limits. Can I open a checking account with no initial deposit?
Yes, you can open a 360 Checking account with no initial deposit. Just keep in mind, you will need to make a deposit within 60 days or the account will be closed.
