If your friend already banks with Capital One and has an open 360 Checking account or opened a 360 Checking, Simply Checking or Total Control Checking account as a primary or secondary account holder on or after January 1, 2024, they won’t be eligible for this bonus. If their checking account is in default, closed or suspended, or otherwise not in good standing before they receive the bonus, they won’t be eligible to receive the bonus.

For you to receive a bonus, your friend will need to open a new qualifying 360 Checking account using your referral code and then complete all required direct deposits within 75 days of opening their account. Once they’ve checked off those steps, you will both receive your bonuses within 135 days of them opening their account.
