In order to receive a code, you will need to have a US mobile phone number registered to your name on file. Prepaid phones, company phones, and phone numbers created through apps such as Google Voice or Skype may not be eligible to receive a code, as the number may not be registered to your name.
If your phone is part of a mobile phone plan that is billed to somebody else’s name, it is possible that your number will also be registered to their name. This can sometimes be adjusted by your phone carrier.
Please Note: If you have recently updated your phone number on file, it may take up to 30 calendar days to verify the number for OTP usage.
It is also possible that your phone carrier may be blocking short codes such as OTP from reaching your phone. If so, this can also be adjusted by your phone carrier.
If you are traveling outside the US, we may not be able to deliver a text or voice message to you depending on your phone’s coverage.
