We’re invested in diverse leadership

It’s critical that diversity be reflected at every level of Capital One, and we’re relentlessly focused on increasing executive-level representation of women and people of color. This commitment is championed by our CEO, Board and Executive Committee.

We’ve made solid progress—including increasing representation on our Board and Executive Committee—and we are committed to continuing to make progress in this vitally important area.

Our approach

We’re partnering closely with leaders across the company to develop a multi-dimensional strategy to increase executive-level diversity through recruitment, retention and development of exceptional talent. Our focus on increasing diverse leadership is just as much about building an internal pipeline as it is recruiting talent from outside of Capital One. That's why our development, mentorship and sponsorship programs will continue to play critical roles as we grow and nurture diverse leaders from within.
