Northeast Regional President

As President of Capital One’s Commercial Banking business, Mr. Slocum is responsible for leading multiple broad lines of business, including Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, and Treasury Services. Mr. Slocum is a member of Capital One’s Executive Committee and reports to Rich Fairbank, Capital One’s Chairman and CEO. He also serves as the company’s Northeast Regional President.

Comprised of more than 2,900 associates, Capital One’s Commercial Banking Group generates over $3 billion in annual revenue, with over $64 billion in loans outstanding and $33 billion in deposit balances as of December 31, 2017. Mr. Slocum joined Capital One in 2007 after having spent almost two decades at Wachovia (now Wells Fargo) and predecessor banks. His experience spans both Commercial and Retail Banking.

Mr. Slocum is an active member of the New York Community and is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Safe Horizon, the largest victims’ services agency in the United States. He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for The Jewish Museum in New York City, and is on the Board of Directors for the Roundabout Theatre Company.

Mr. Slocum resides in New York City and is a graduate of Colgate University with a degree in Economics.

Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Banking

Darren Alcus is the Head of Corporate Banking, which is comprised of several specialty lending platforms and regional business units, including: Healthcare (Corporate Finance and Real Estate); Technology, Media and Telecom; Financial Institutions Group; Energy Banking; Public Funding-Municipal; and Middle Market Banking. The Corporate Banking group provides financial solutions primarily to middle market customers on a national basis and seeks to be a leader in its chosen markets.

Senior Vice President, Head of Underwriting and Portfolio Management

John Crosby serves as the head of Underwriting and Portfolio Management across the Commercial Banking portfolio. In his role he manages all of the underwriting and asset management resources in the Commercial Bank and is responsible for driving consistent decision-making and credit delivery across the organization.

Johan Gericke is Chief of Staff for Commercial Banking. He is responsible for managing signature projects led by the Office of the President, in addition to overseeing the Commercial Banking Strategy team and the Strategic Investments Group.

Nick Robinson leads the Commercial Risk team, which oversees the management of non-credit risk. These include operational, regulatory and reputational risks among others.

Konrad Schwarz leads Commercial Banking's Treasury Management and Corporate Card businesses. He is also responsible for the Marketing and Analytics team and horizontal support functions.

Head of Capital Markets

Steve Tulip is the head of Capital Markets. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing new product solutions and capabilities to deepen client relationships. He leads teams in the areas of Loan Syndications, Debt and Equity Capital Markets, Interest Rate Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, Foreign Exchange and Tax Credit Finance. In addition, Mr. Tulip manages the Sales, Trading and Research platform which operates under Capital One Securities.

Head of Commercial Banking Operations

Andy Ramamoorthy is the head of Commercial Banking Operations. In this role, he is responsible for Operations for Commercial Lending, Capital Markets and Treasury Management products, including Enterprise Payment activities for the Corporation. In addition, Operations includes Client Solutions and Support activities.
