Capital One Steps Into Fashion’s Biggest Week
Capital One and The Cultivist announce Anna Weyant’s surreal dollhouse installation, in collaboration with Marc Jacobs
This September, Capital One and The Cultivist will showcase at fashion’s biggest week in New York City with acclaimed artist Anna Weyant and fashion designer Marc Jacobs, in a collaboration that will captivate art lovers, fashion insiders, and connoisseurs of culture – The Dollhouse.
Artist Anna Weyant reimagines the historic Academy Mansion as The Dollhouse—a fully immersive, surrealist world where everyday rituals are both celebrated and subverted. Drawing from her signature practice of infusing still life and portraiture with whimsy, Weyant constructs a space where fantasy blurs into the uncanny, and beauty is laced with quiet unease. It is not merely a place to visit—it is a world to play, pose, and, ultimately, reflect within.
“The Dollhouse was a dream project—a true balance of work and play, built with wonder. Working with The Cultivist and Capital One made it all possible—they didn’t just support the vision, they encouraged it, cared deeply about it, and worked tirelessly to help bring it to life,” said Anna Weyant. “Every detail—the uniforms, the menu, the furniture—was designed with a commitment to joy. It’s collaboration at its most theatrical—and most uncanny."
Marc Jacobs will complement Anna Weyant’s surrealist dollhouse vision by incorporating reimagined designs and select pieces from the Marc Jacobs archive. Jacobs has also designed whimsical staff uniforms that echo the distorted scale and floral motifs of the installation’s surreal set. The result is a richly layered experience that blends fashion, art, and access — all within the world Weyant has created for The Dollhouse.
“I am happy to collaborate with my dear friend Anna Weyant to bring The Dollhouse to life, from design to fashion,” said Marc Jacobs. “We are pleased to open up our archives to guests, including Capital One’s customers, in celebration of one of my favorite weeks in the City.”
Capital One and The Cultivist have a longstanding partnership, activating in both unexpected moments and culture’s most anticipated events to create community through art. Last fall, Capital One made their debut to fashion’s biggest week in NYC and marked collaborations with Wiederhoeft and the MICHELIN-recognized restaurant HAGS. Capital One continues to deepen its investment in art and fashion, by collaborating with innovative artists and designers at the forefront of their industries. Working with visionary Anna Weyant reflects Capital One’s commitment to curating unexpected and extraordinary experiences that connect cardholders.
“It is an honor to collaborate with the visionary artist Anna Weyant,” said Monica Weaver, Head of Branded Card Partnerships and Experiences at Capital One. “Her surrealist dollhouse will be one of the most anticipated cultural moments of the season, and we’re thrilled it features reworked and archival pieces from Marc Jacobs — adding a striking fashion layer to her artistic vision. Capital One Entertainment is proud to work with both talents to bring this unforgettable experience to our cardholders and the public, from curated dinners to parties.”
