Capital One Lounges Arriving in Airports

Check out all the reasons to love these new lounges with modern, airy spaces and amazing amenities

When it comes to air travel, two things are usually true at once: Flying is great and flying can also be stressful. So here’s good news. Soon, you’ll be able to relax away from endless airport crowds in a brand-new Capital One Lounge. Even better news? Capital One customers will be eligible for special cardholder pricing, depending on their card.

Think of Capital One Lounges as an oasis of calm where you can work, work out, recharge and a whole lot more. The first Lounge that’s part of this growing network will open at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport later this summer. Another will follow in 2022 at Dulles International Airport outside of Washington, D.C.

Introducing Amenities to Enjoy in a Capital One Lounge

Walk into a Capital One Lounge—modern, light and airy—and the first thing you’ll notice are the amenities. Here are some that could seriously elevate your next airport layover, even if you're not a Capital One customer.

1. High-Speed Wi-Fi

Want to research a project? Listen to a podcast? Book a dinner table in your destination city? With high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the Lounge, you can use your downtime to handle the business of work and life.

2. Grab-and-Go Food

Need to eat on the run? No problem! The grab-and-go food area offers a menu of healthy selections curated by up-and-coming local chefs. And they’re sustainably prepackaged so they’re easy to carry on your way to the next gate. So help yourself to cold-brew coffee, still or sparkling water, sandwiches, salads, fruit, snacks and more.

3. Dining Stations

Enjoy chef-inspired foods with options for everyone, including vegetarians, vegans or those eating gluten-free. Whatever meal you’re having, you can count on delicious, health-conscious choices and locally sourced ingredients.

4. Fully Stocked Bars

Make time for a break in the Lounge’s bar, if you can. Have the bartender pour you a craft beer. Sip a glass of local wine. Or enjoy a signature cocktail on tap. Cheers!

5. Coffee Bars

A full day of travel and connections may call for a caffeine boost. Coffee or cappuccino? Good and hot or cold and refreshing? You’ve got lots of choices at the coffee bar with options like fresh-brewed coffee, cold brew on tap or a full-service espresso bar.

6. Quiet Work Zones With Charge-Up Areas

Stay productive in a peaceful setting while you wait for your flight. The Lounge offers semi-private work areas with outlets at every seat to power up your devices. Plus there are monitors around the room with up-to-date flight status information. So you can focus on your work, knowing you’ll stay on schedule.

7. Relaxation Rooms

Airplanes aren’t always the easiest places to nap. So when you need a quiet space to sleep, the cozy, soundproof relaxation room is stocked with blankets, eye covers and earplugs. Breathe in. Breathe out. Feel better? Thought so.

8. Luggage Lockers

Feel free to unwind without worrying about your bags. The Lounge gives you peace of mind with secure lockers that have plenty of room for carry-on luggage.

9. Cycling and Yoga Rooms

If you want to work off some energy or stretch out after all that sitting, check out the Lounge’s cycling and yoga room. It’s equipped with exercise bikes for a cardio burst and yoga mats for a slightly more zen workout.

10. Shower Suites

Want to rinse off the day? Cool down after exercising? The Lounge has private shower suites where you can freshen up before your next flight. And they provide complimentary towels and luxury toiletries so there’s no need to dig through your carry-on for any essentials.

11. Family-Friendly Environment

Travel can make for long days, so the Lounge was designed for the needs of guests travelling with or without children. Relax in the family area, which includes lower tables and chairs for kids and a dedicated, power-charged work area for adults. That way everybody’s happy.

12. Parents Rooms

The Lounge has private nursing rooms where you can tend to little ones or just take a breather. Each room is equipped with lounge chairs and footrests, bottle warmers and minifridges with beverages. There’s even extra counter space for diaper changes. And with “Occupied” and “Unoccupied” signs on every door, you can relax knowing you won’t be interrupted.

13. Multi-Faith Rooms

Need a quiet moment to get centered? There’s a soundproof room in the Lounge for prayer, meditation or quiet reflection.

Rest assured, the Lounge has a detailed plan for your safe transition back to flying. It includes masks, social distancing, temperature checks and prepackaged foods. That’s important since everyone’s trying to stay safe—and keep each other safe.
