Talk to the merchant
After you've double-checked the charge and you're ready to dispute it, we recommend that you first contact the merchant (unless you think the charge is fraudulent, then please contact us at 1-800-CAPITAL (1-800-227-4825)). Many customers are able to work out their disputes directly with the merchant.

Let us investigate
Our Dispute Investigators will get to work as soon as we have all your information. We have to wait until a final decision is made before we can issue a permanent credit, but we will review your case to determine if a temporary credit is appropriate. Typically, you will receive a final decision on your dispute within 2 complete billing cycles (up to 90 days).
If the dispute is resolved in your favor, any temporary credit we gave you when you first lodged your dispute will become permanent. If it's not resolved in your favor, we may have to re-bill you.
