You won’t need to change how you make purchases once your account transfers to Capital One Trade Credit–any changes are automatic. When you receive your new statement, please note the new remit address and phone number. You can also set up AutoPay and paperless billing.
Why is this change happening?
Your merchant is partnering with Capital One Trade Credit to manage its credit program to better serve your needs. All accounts in good standing will make the move. Your relationship with your merchant won't be changing. In fact, your merchant will have more time to focus on your business by allowing Capital One Trade Credit to manage the credit program.
What will I have to do?
Continue using your current account as you normally would. If we have your email address on file, keep an eye on your inbox for an email from Capital One Trade Credit confirming your contact information. You won’t need to change how you make purchases once your account transfers to Capital One Trade Credit–any changes are automatic. When you receive your new statement, please note the new mailing address and phone number. You can also set up online payments and AutoPay in your online account management tool, SmartView.
When will these changes happen?
Check the communications you receive from Capital One Trade Credit with specific dates pertaining to your account. Generally, the transfer will take place about 45 days after you receive the first notice from Capital One Trade Credit.
Can I keep using my current account?
Yes! Continue using your current account as you normally would for now. The transfer to your new Capital One Trade Credit account will be automatic—there’s no change to how you purchase today.
Who do I call with questions?
Prior to your account officially transferring to Capital One Trade Credit, you can discuss the change with your merchant. Once your account transfers, you'll receive a new customer service phone number to call if you have any questions. You’ll need a customer account number before calling, which can be found in future communications, statements and your online account management tool, SmartView.
