How to Change Your Rental Car Reservation

Change of plans? Capital One Travel is here to help. Simply call the Capital One Travel support team at 844-422-6922 for assistance. 

The easiest way to change your booking is to simply cancel your existing booking and make a new reservation. Canceling and rebooking also works if you prepaid some or all of a refundable reservation. It usually takes one to two billing cycles for the prepaid amount to be refunded to your account. 

Keep in mind that all change requests are subject to rental car availability. And you may have to pay cancellation or change fees, depending on the rental car provider’s policies. 

When to Contact the Rental Car Provider Directly to Request a Change

If you don’t want to cancel and rebook your reservation, you need to contact the rental car provider directly to request any changes.
