Eligibility

If you have or had an open 360 Performance Savings, 360 Savings, 360 Money Market, Savings Now or Confidence Savings account as a primary or secondary account holder with Capital One on or after January 1, 2024, you will be ineligible for the bonus. If your account is in default, closed or suspended, or otherwise not in good standing before you receive the bonus, you will not receive the bonus.

Certain deposit transactions initiated through the Capital One website to retrieve funds from your external account are subject to limits. If you are subject to these limits, in order to meet the offer requirements, you would need to initiate the deposit by another external method, such as mobile deposit or setting the initial deposit to send (rather than be retrieved) from your external financial institution.

By participating in referrals, you acknowledge and agree your participation may reveal you are a Capital One customer and that you have completed certain account related activities in order for you and your referring friend to receive the bonus.

Process

Open a 360 Performance Savings account using the referral link shared with you.
Initial Funding Period: Deposit a total of $5,000 or more of new money from externally sourced funds (transfers between Capital One accounts will not qualify) within the first 15 days of account opening.
Hold Period: You will earn a bonus once you’ve maintained an account balance at or above $5,000 or more for 90 days following the Initial Funding Period with the balance held until 11:59 p.m. ET on the 90th day. The Initial Funding Period is defined as the first 15 days from account opening, and the 90-day Hold Period does not begin until after the full 15-day Initial Funding Period.
Capital One will deposit the bonus into your account after the first three requirements listed above are completed. See below for when the bonus will be posted.

Bonus fulfillment

Capital One will deposit the bonus into your account within 60 days after you have completed all the requirements, as follows:

Keep in mind that the 90-day Hold Period (Step 3) does not start until after the full 15-day Initial Funding Period (Step 2).

The amount of your bonus will be determined as follows:

$75 bonus—The new money deposited from an external bank during the Initial Funding Period was between $5,000 - $19,999.99, and you maintained an account balance within this range for 90 days following the Initial Funding Period with the balance held until 11:59 p.m. ET on the 90th day.

$300 bonus—The new money deposited from an external bank during the Initial Funding Period was between $20,000 - $49,999.99, and you maintained an account balance within this range for 90 days following the Initial Funding Period with the balance held until 11:59 p.m. ET on the 90th day.

$750 bonus—The new money deposited from an external bank during the Initial Funding Period was between $50,000 - $99,999.99 and you maintained an account balance within this range for 90 days following the Initial Funding Period with the balance held until 11:59 p.m. ET on the 90th day.

$1,500 bonus—The new money deposited from an external bank during the Initial Funding Period was $100,000 or more, and you maintained an account balance at or above that Deposit Amount for 90 days following the Initial Funding Period with the balance held until 11:59 p.m. ET on the 90th day.

If at any time during the 90 days following the Initial Funding Period your daily account balance drops into a lower tier, you will be rewarded the lower tier's cash bonus. If your daily account balance decreases to an amount less than $5,000, you will not qualify for a cash bonus. In addition, any additional deposits made during this Hold Period will not qualify you for a higher tier bonus.

Capital One will deposit the bonus into your account within 60 days after you have completed all the requirements above, including fulfilling the 90-day holding period. If your account is in default, closed or suspended, or otherwise not in good standing, you will not receive the bonus. This offer cannot be combined with any other 360 Performance Savings account opening offers. Only one promotional code is accepted per account. Bonus is only valid for one new 360 Performance Savings account. Bonuses are considered interest and will be reported on IRS form 1099-INT.

What are considered externally sourced funds?

Capital One considers externally sourced funds as any funds that are deposited into your account from a source (such as another financial institution) that was not affiliated with Capital One prior to Jan. 1, 2025.

What you need to know about the 360 Performance Savings account:

360 Performance Savings accounts don’t have ATM or debit cards, or check-writing capabilities. There’s no monthly cycle service charge for this account, and no minimum balance required to open or maintain the account. Our savings accounts permit no more than six (6) transfers per statement cycle to a third party or to any of your other deposit accounts at Capital One. There is no limit in the number of transfers that you may make into your account. Note: We are currently not enforcing the transfer limits. You’ll be notified if we choose to reimpose these limits.

A rate of NaN Annual Percentage Yield (APY) applies to all account balances. Advertised rates are variable and effective as of 9/17/2026. Rates are subject to change at any time before or after account opening.

To calculate interest, we apply a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.

Compounding and crediting—Interest on your account will be compounded and credited on a monthly basis. Your account will only receive an interest posting if the amount earned during the month rounds to at least $0.01.
