Who can open a 360 Checking account?
360 Checking is available to United States citizens or lawful permanent residents with a U.S. physical address or military address, who are at least 18 years old with a valid Social Security number. Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) are acceptable for account opening in branches and Capital One Cafés.
Who’s eligible for this Capital One promotion?
The Capital One 360 Checking referral bonus is only valid for new 360 Checking customers who open an account from this page. Any 360 Checking account opened from a source other than this page will not be eligible for the referral bonus. If you have or had an open 360 Checking account as a primary or secondary account holder with Capital One on or after January 1, 2019, you will be ineligible for the referral bonus. If your account is in default, closed or suspended, or otherwise not in good standing, you will not receive the referral bonus.
How do I set up direct deposit for my 360 Checking account?
You can enroll in direct deposit through your payer’s payroll system or by using our direct deposit enrollment form.
To print a pre-filled direct deposit form: Sign in to our mobile app, choose the checking account you want to enroll with, select “View All” from “I Want To,” then select “Set Up Direct Deposit” in “Account Settings.” Tap “Get form” to download, print and sign the form and give it to your payer.
What counts as a direct deposit?
A qualifying direct deposit is a regular periodic payment, such as salary, pension, government payments (for example, Social Security) or other monthly income that occurs as an Automated Clearing House (ACH) or Real-Time Payment network credit from your employer or an outside institution. ACH credits or fund transfers initiated via the Capital One website or mobile app and wires are not considered a direct deposit.
