Capital One Auto earns two 2026 BIG Innovation Awards
Business Intelligence Group recognizes Capital One Auto’s Chat Concierge & ProtectID as Innovative Product Award Winners
Capital One Auto’s Chat Concierge and ProtectID have been recognized as Innovative Product Winners in the 2026 BIG Innovation Awards, representing the automotive and banking and financial services industries respectively. This global recognition program honors companies, products and leaders who are transforming industries through applied innovation, intelligent platforms and measurable real-world impact.
“At a time when car buying is becoming more complex, we are committed to leveraging our scale and technology to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of both auto dealers and car buyers,” said Sanjiv Yajnik, President of Capital One Auto. “This recognition reflects the strength of our innovation engine and the dedicated teams who work every day to deliver more seamless customer experiences.”
Chat Concierge uses proprietary agentic AI technology to put customers in the driver's seat of their car buying experience by connecting them with the dealer, helping them find the right car, requesting a test drive, and digitally progressing through one of the most significant purchases they will make in their lifetimes. Based on Q1 2025 results alone, Chat Concierge was found to be 55% more successful at converting leads into buyers than a leading competitor.
ProtectID is an automated fraud protection tool that uses proprietary fraud detection models built on years of expertise and advanced AI capabilities to provide car dealerships with real-time risk assessments for every transaction. In the past 12 months, ProtectID has prevented more than $120 million in potentially fraudulent auto applications.
"The 2026 BIG Innovation Awards winners show that true innovation is no longer about chasing the latest buzzwords," said Russ Fordyce, Chief Recognition Officer at the Business Intelligence Group. "It’s about building intelligent platforms, automating workflows with purpose, and making trust, privacy, and resilience the foundation of every breakthrough. These organizations and leaders are not just keeping pace with change, they are shaping the future of global business."
Capital One Auto joins 159 winners recognized for their contributions to innovation across health, financial services, logistics, manufacturing and enterprise technology. The roster of 2026 BIG Innovation Awards winners reveals a clear trend: Innovation is no longer about just having AI, it’s about how you use it.
