Helping Montana small businesses thrive

What started in 2021 as a local Billings hobby shop founded by Dalton Heiliger and Ryate Walstad has rapidly evolved into a multi-million dollar sports card and collectibles business. Today, LuckBox Sportscards employs over 20 people and serves a passionate community of collectors nationwide. Scaling a business this quickly requires seamless day-to-day financial management. To support this growth, LuckBox Sportscards uses its Capital One Spark Cash Plus card, helping to provide the financial flexibility needed to scale.

“We started in 2021 with just two guys in a small shop, and we’ve grown into a huge online business. Capital One really helped us bridge the gap between trying to scale and having the money to do it, allowing us to expand while staying focused on what matters most—giving back to our local community. We support our local youth leagues, high school teams and small businesses. If you keep giving back to your community, the community will keep giving back to you.” - Dalton Heiliger, Co-Owner, LuckBox Sportscards

Mapping Rural Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is one of rural America's greatest strengths–creating jobs, strengthening local economies and building wealth that stays close to home. What's often missing is a clear way to see where that momentum is growing and how new opportunity can take hold.

“Small business owners are the backbone of local communities here in Montana. I take pride in my role at Capital One – and the partnerships that I’ve built with my clients – and see my job as making sure they have a fair shot at every opportunity that comes their way by leveraging the right financial tools and products. Being a father to three young boys has taught me that the best partnerships are built on patience and empathy, and I bring that same commitment to every business that I serve.” Luis Garcia, Regional Customer Relationship Manager, Capital One
