Capital one auto navigator is great for those who might have hit a rough spot with their credit. We've had a capital one credit card for years and their service has been excellent. So we decided to see how their auto loans were. VERY FAIR loan rates based on our credit. Their customer service people have been excellent as well. My few negative things for them would be the website. When you filter for the vehicle you'd like and view it,.omce you click on a vehicle then go back to the results page the filters reset sometimes or it takes you back to the beginning of the list. Second negative is the fact that the dealership has to send the credit app in. I'd prefer to submit the app through capital one and go in with my terms and pre-approval amount. I feel the dealership messes with the interest rates so they can get you to purchase additional products.

This was a great option and very resourceful. The Auto Navigator had more cars listed then AutoTrader and other aggregators. I liked that you could be pre-qualified and the app gave you a pre-qualified rate for each car/dealership. It calculated the monthly payment based on the breakdown you entered so you had an idea of your payments. As a consumer, this was very helpful having on the front end when financing since Finance Managers at dealerships are still salespeople and will try to have you go with one of their choices which typically isn’t the most competitive rate or in your best interest. I chose CapitalOne based on my experience, being informed as a consumer, and the competitive rate offered. I would highly recommend this product!

I needed a new car fairly urgently and my credit score needed some improvement. I had a couple of credit unions offer me a fantastic interest rate considering my credit but they wanted a higher down payment, which I didn’t have.
Capital one allowed me to put only a thousand down on a $22k loan, but with 12% interest. I didn’t really have much of a choice but I make enough money for the time being to where I can just refinance later on.
Capital one has a great website for finding cars. Once I had my pre-approval, I was driving a 2017 Mustang with 10k miles on it just 3 hours later. The payments are high for the time being but worth it.
Summary: Very high interest compared to credit unions, but also pretty easy and quick as well. Just make sure that you have a good source of income if your credit isn’t great.
I liked the whole process

I liked that I could put in a down payment, even at $0, and narrow searches down. I especially liked the variety of filters that further helped me narrow down the best car at the best price, like only showing cars that showed monthly payments. If you put all the information in that it asks, like downloading a pay stub, it makes it so easy. One terrific feature I liked was that the site updated daily so that cars that I'd saved as favorites that had been sold, were no longer available. That's really a time saver. I also liked that I was able to print out multiple deals in the off chance a car sold on the way to the dealership. The only issue I had was minor and that was when you're looking at a specific car and its features, when you hit the left arrow to go back to the list of cars, sometimes it won't refresh that way and you have to hit the actual refresh button at that time and re-enter your filters. But that's a small issue compared to all the great features of using the site.
Super Easy and Fast

I had been receiving offers online and in the mail for a few years and never really though anything of it. I have always maintained my cars and had the time to do so, but with the addition of a new job taking all my time up I was unable to maintain my older car properly. Well on my way to work one morning my car finally decided it was time to retire until I can address the problems. So while waiting for AAA to show up with a tow truck I just made the decision to buy a new car for the wife and kids that will had have to be babied and looked after as much. So I hopped on capital ones auto finance app and was pre-approved in less than 5 mins I knew what I was going to put down and what may payments where for the car I choose before I even set foot in the dealership. After I was dropped off at home I drove up to the dealership in my spare car and walk in a basically said I'm here to buy this car and I'm pre-approved. Of course they tried to show me other cars but I was not at all interested in anything else as I knew what I wanted and to stay in my budget. After 45 mins of paperwork and another 20 mins of contact signing we where done. So i would highly recommend Capital Ones Auto loans to anyone looking to buy a car without having to go through the headache of trying to negotiate terms and fees with the dealership.

Financing with Capital One takes the stress and worry about car buying out of the picture. Their rates are competitive and in my case, better than what the dealer offered. Knowing how much you’re able to spend along with the ability to build your deal on the exact vehicle you want, takes the whole buying experience to another level. Upon my recommendation, my daughter utilized Auto Navigator several months prior to buy a car, and she was impressed as well. In addition, I talked to a customer service representative on a couple occasions to clarify some concerns, and they were knowledgeable and efficient. I would highly recommend Capital One Auto Navigator to anyone considering purchasing a vehicle.
Simple. Easy to use.

I received an email stating I was pre-approved for an auto loan. Curious to see what they had to say I opened it and played along. Capital one made it so easy with no tricks or hidden information. We did a little background, and I sent in my proof of income. I was pre-approved and ready to take in my pre-approval letter a few days later. I used the auto navigator to find a car I liked, or a dealership I wanted to work with...took the letter in, showed the car salesman I was pre-approved, told him what I was looking for, and then the finance manager took my reference number and sent it into capital one. I walked about with my new car that day!!!! Capital one auto navigator allowed me to find what I wanted, at a price I wanted and there was no trickery to it at all.

My overall experience was the best I have ever experienced when buying a car. I decided to try Capital One since I have a credit card through them. I was able to quickly secure my own financing easily without impacting my score, which I think is one of the best features, as well as search for vehicles that match what I was looking for. I really like the qualification letter and vehicle summary that I printed and brought to the dealership. I also liked that you can change your down payment and terms to show different payments. This was really helpful so I know what version or extra features I can afford if I add them to the vehicle. Once I found 1 or 2 cars I contacted the dealership and got the pricing confirmed. My only negative I found was some dealers were displaying incorrect prices, so I am not sure where Capital One gets the prices but found a few to be wrong, as the dealer included all rebates even though you may not qualify for all of the dealer incentives. I got my best price from the dealer and everything else with my trade was finalized. I had my printed letter and summary and went to the dealership. I was in and out in under 45 minutes! I was able to skip all of the games that most dealers do when it comes to warranties and other add-ons. I think that was the best part as I knew what my % rate was and how much my monthly payment would be. I would recommend for anyone to use this service.

Was on internet looking for that nice suv also wanted another Ford Explorer, found it at a Honda dealership lol. I would like for Capital One to automatically withdraw my monthly payments from my checking account. Getting work done on a ford at a Honda service dept is rough cause they have to go outside for parts, I knew that would be a small problem other than that explorer rides great. Oh! had a problem with my bank, Bank of America you guys needed info from my account BOA gave me the wrong information Twice. Went to dealership, they looked into my account and found what you guys needed, my bank couldn't even do that for me. Been with Bank of America for years, 10 or more years. Thanks for helping me you won't be disappointed.
