Car Overview
Tesla Model S
The Model S is the car that legitimized Tesla. But, more importantly, the Model S redefined what an electric vehicle (EV) could be in the eyes of consumers. A true luxury-performance sedan, the early versions offered serious acceleration and enough range to make road trips a viable proposition. Modern Tesla Model S sedans have multiple electric-drive motors and are now ridiculously fast. And they offer even more cruising range, which, in combination with Tesla's extensive Supercharger network, makes EV ownership more convenient than you might think. Though the less expensive Model 3 now offers much the same experience, the Tesla Model S retains undeniable prestige.
