The Tesla Model X is an electric SUV offering seating for up to seven people, more than 90 cubic feet of storage and cargo space, 5,000 pounds of maximum towing capacity, and more than 1,000 peak horsepower. It debuted in 2015 with its dramatic Falcon Wing rear doors that rise to allow entry to the back rows of seats. The first Model Xs offered about 200 miles of driving range, but a program of continuous improvement has, at times, nearly doubled that figure. Using the most powerful stations in the company's Supercharger network, Tesla says the Model X can recharge to 175 miles of range in 15 minutes.
