Pre-qualified with Capital One for a new car purchase and was extremely satisfied and pleased with the result. It provided me with a secure feeling going to the process and was able to use it as leverage with the dealer. The car buying process can be a daunting and frustrating experience sometimes, but the Auto Navigator changed the entire process. The Auto Navigator also was very useful for looking at the different cars and dealers. I can't say enough positive things about it and I am not one easily satisfied and have high expectations. My expectations were exceeded, a very unusual experience for which I am very thankful for!!
No one else would take a chance

I had applied a few places for auto financing and been turned down, even with a credit score of 635. Some of those places included my bank for 9 years now, the credit union I have been a member of for 2 years, and the credit union my husband and I have been purchasing our home and auto insurance through for 9 years. They gave me enough to get a decent car, and, to my surprise, gave me my first month payment free! Surprises didn't stop there. I was approved at the dealership for 12% APR, and I just got a letter stating I actually got it for a little more than 9%. I'm over the moon! Will DEFINITELY be using Capital One for all my auto purchasing needs.
Easiest way to get a new vehicle!

I applied from the preapproval, submitted my check stubs and was approved in less than 24hours. I was able to build MY preferred offer on the vehicle of my choice including how much of a down payment I wanted to use, and how much I wanted to pay per month. I was able to get a 2018 Chevy Silverado with $0 down and $200 cheaper on the monthly payment other lenders offered. Went to the lot with the print out, did a test drive and I was leaving the lot in 45mins with my NEW TRUCK!!! no more back and forth with the "lenders" or "banks" or salesmen...This is the future of auto buying
Easy & Fast :) Would Recommend :)

That easiest and fastest car purchase I've ever made. The majority of the time taken was test driving the vehicles we liked. We printed the pre-approval letter after entering some information not alot and took it to the dealership. A few minutes giving the dealership the pre-approval letter and some additional information and boom a small time later we were done and driving home. We also bought from CarMax and they work with Capital One. The no haggle pricing took out the dreaded "Salesman Dance" which is aggravating. We BIG TIME would recommend for sure! Thank you very much Capital One :)

The Capital One Auto Finance program makes the car buying process very easy. It allows you to shop around for the car that you want without running your credit first. After filling out a brief questionnaire I was given a pre-approval amount. I was able to see all of the terms of the loan for the car that I was interested in. Once I found the car at the price and APR that I wanted, I hit save and took the printout with me to the dealership. At the dealership is the only time they have to run your credit for confirmation, but the terms won't change unless you add dealer options. Make sure you inform the dealership that you are only interested in the Capital One offer that you brought in with you or they may run your credit through multiple financial institutions that will count against your credit report. The only information required to close the deal was the pre-approval offer sheet of the vehicle I selected, driver's license and proof of insurance.

Capital One easily pre approved me for an auto loan and gave me an amount that to work with. After sending paystubs and talking to my employer to confirm my income it was smooth sailing. They give you dealers they approve and you can search what you want either by actual car you want or by monthl t payment you want each month. After searching for a vehicle I found a perfect fit and I can say going to the dealership and having a specific loan amount and knowing exactly what I wanted made the whole process easy and painless. I knew how much I had and exactly what I wanted when I walked in. I'm very happy with my purchase and my auto loan through Capital One. I would recommend and have to friends and Co-workers. If you are in need for a new or used vehicle that is with in your budget you should give Capital One Auto a chance! No harm in trying when it does not count as a hard pull on your credit until you actually go to a dealership!!!
So easy to use!

My experience with Capital One I don’t navigator was a little surreal. Going into the dealership to purchase a brand new car with this tool literally in the palm of my hand was amazing! It was a great way to have everything already set up and planned out before making my purchase! When they started the paperwork with exactly the numbers that Capital One had calculated I was like so what’s next and the dealer responded we’re already done. Ummm wow.. I only just purchased my vehicle but I have been a card holder for years and have never had an issue with Capital One and their customer service. Needless to say I was very impressed with capital one auto navigator!

was quick and easy to get pre-approved , but your pre-approval number doesn't mean anything to the dealer, and the interest rate they tell you is a lie. according to the web site i was pre-approved for 35,000 at a interest rate 4.5 to 15% depending on the vehicle so i picked out a vehicle and it it told me 5.13%. so the dealer had me fill out the paper work for the loan and asked me if there was any other banks other then capital one he should run it thru. so after waiting about 10-15 minutes i was approved but my 5.13 went to 7.5%. so the pre-approval and interest rate they give you is BS. i wouldn't of done it but i was already committed to buying the vehicle.

The Capital One Navigator made buying a car the easiest of all my car buying experiences.
Before you go to the dealer you can use the Navigator to know exactly how much you can afford and what you want the final price of your car to be.
You never have to be worried about which dealership accepts the financing because Capital One has a list of all the dealerships that will accept their financing.
When I found the vehicle I wanted I simply walked in test drove it, negotiated a price below the sticker price and within a total of 3 hours drove off with my brand new car with absolutely no money down.
**beware**
A few dealerships after you tell them you have capital one 100% financing will try and tell you they need to collect taxes, license and registration. NO WAY! Capital One handles ALL OF IT. The dealership will tell you it's foolish to finance taxes, license and registration. There is a quick fix to it. If you had a down payment simply pay Capital One the amount of your down payment when your first payment is due. This way your down payment will go to the principal and you will no longer be paying finance fees on your tax, license and registration.
They WILL have to do a credit application as Capital One advises. At this point the dealership will also try and tell you about other financing institutions. DECLINE, and stick with your hassle free Capital One financing.
The dealership might also feed you some idea since you're a capital one customer they have these special prices for capital one customers. Don't fall for it. Still negotiate the price of your car.
