The Chevrolet Captiva Sport was originally sold only for rental car fleets, but they are now available as used vehicles to anyone interested in owning one. The Captiva Sport was a rebadged second-generation Saturn Vue, itself a lightly modified Opel Antara. The Vue was all new in 2008 but lasted only two years because General Motors discontinued the Saturn brand in 2009. Years later, GM determined it could revive the Vue as a low-cost, small SUV for commercial customers, and the Captiva Sport was born. It debuted in 2012 and remained on sale through the 2015 model year. The 2012 models have a powerful V6 engine and all-wheel drive. All other Captiva Sports came with an unremarkable four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive.
