Ford carried over the 2017 Mustang with no notable changes. Five versions are available: V6, EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, and GT Premium. The standard engine is a 3.7-liter V6 with 300 horsepower, and optional engines offer up to 435 horsepower. A high-performance variant, the Shelby GT350, is available, but we discuss it separately. Ford offers six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmissions, and the EPA-estimated gas mileage ranges from 24 mpg in combined city and highway driving to 17 mpg.
