At Capital One Travel, our goal is to make the airport travel experience more seamless and efficient for our customers—from booking to boarding and beyond. To maintain our best-in-class guest experience, we’ve developed innovative digital features to manage Capital One Lounge capacity and better serve the needs of our customers.

Enter the Capital One Lounge digital waitlist tool, where eligible cardholders with airport lounge access can view capacity in real time and, if needed, join the waitlist—all through the Capital One Mobile app.

To take it a step further, the Capital One Landing at Washington Reagan National (DCA) Airport offers the digital waitlist tool and access to advance reservations for eligible Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders.

How to check lounge capacity and availability

The digital waitlist tool and advance reservations help eligible guests plan ahead by following these easy steps:

Sign in to the Capital One Mobile app and select Travel (denoted by an airplane icon), located within the Explore Rewards & Benefits tile
Once on the Travel page, select Lounges in the top right corner
Below the Search Bar, select a Lounge location to view capacity and wait times

If the selected Capital One Lounge or Capital One Landing is on a waitlist, eligible cardholders will be able to join digitally by following these steps:

After joining the waitlist, guests can return to the Lounge location page to view their confirmation and anticipated wait time.

When it’s time to enter the Lounge, guests will receive a notification via text to visit front desk reception. Once notified, guests must arrive within the specified grace period to keep their spot in line. Guests can submit their arrival status in the Capital One Mobile app to let Lounge staff know if they’re on the way, running late, have already arrived or are no longer coming. Guests are still able to join the waitlist in person and will be notified via text when it’s their turn to enter.

Eligible Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders may join the waitlist for parties of up to six guests.

At the Capital One Landing at Washington Reagan National (DCA) Airport, eligible cardholders can also make a reservation in advance of their trip from within the Capital One Mobile app:

Select the ‘Make a reservation’ button, which will automatically log you into the Capital One Dining portal
Select your date, time, and party size for the reservation
Confirm the reservation

You will receive a confirmation email at the time of booking, as well as a reminder email 24 hours in advance. When you arrive at the Landing, simply let the host know that you have a reservation. Hosts will be unable to hold tables past the specified grace period. If a reservation is not available for the date and time you are looking for, you can walk-in or join the digital waitlist upon arrival.

How can I and my travel companions access Capital One Lounge or Landing locations?

Venture X cardholders:

Venture X primary cardholders enjoy complimentary access to Capital One Lounge and Capital One Landing locations.
Primary cardholders and account managers can purchase airport lounge access for additional cardholders for an annual lounge access fee of $125 per additional cardholder. This will grant additional cardholders access to Capital One Lounges, Capital One Landings and participating Priority Pass lounges. Must be at least 18 years old to be eligible.
Primary cardholders that spend at least $75,000 total on purchases across their Venture X account per calendar year can bring up to 2 complimentary guests to Capital One Lounges and 1 complimentary guest to Capital One Landings per visit. This benefit also applies to additional cardholders on the account who’ve paid the $125 annual lounge access fee.
Venture X cardholders receive discounted pricing of $45 per visit per guest 18 and older and $25 per visit per guest 17 and under. Children under 2 can enter for free.

Venture X Business cardholders:

Venture X Business primary cardholders enjoy complimentary access to Capital One Lounge and Capital One Landing locations.

Other

All other travelers can enter at the standard rate of $90 per guest per visit, subject to the limitations set forth in the airport lounge access policy guide. Visitors under the age of 18 must enter with a supervising parent or legal guardian.

What is Priority Pass?

Priority Pass is a program that provides eligible Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders with access to 1,300+ participating airport lounges worldwide. If you’re planning upcoming travel, you can search by city, airport name or airport code using the above search tool, or view lounge locations by logging in through the Capital One Mobile app.¹ After signing in, select Travel within the Explore Rewards and Benefits tile and then select 'Lounges' in the top right corner of the Travel page.

Please note that Priority Pass non-lounge airport experiences (including credits for restaurants, bars, spas, gaming and cafes) are not part of the Priority Pass benefit program for Venture X or Venture X Business cardholders.

How can I enroll in Priority Pass?

Here are instructions for enrolling and activating your Priority Pass membership, whether you’re an eligible Venture X or Venture X Business cardholder. To activate your Priority Pass membership:

Sign in to the Capital One Mobile app.¹ A verified Social Security Number is required to obtain Capital One online access and enroll in Priority Pass.
Navigate to the Benefits page for your Venture X or Venture X Business card.
Select the Priority Pass lounge access benefit, then select View Priority Pass.
Follow the instructions to complete Priority Pass enrollment.
After completing enrollment, you will receive an email from Priority Pass with instructions about how to download the Priority Pass mobile app and access your digital membership card.

Note: A phone number, email address, and mailing address in your Capital One online profile are required for Priority Pass enrollment. You can add or confirm this information is up to date by navigating to your Profile, then selecting Personal information in the Capital One Mobile app.
