Price alerts and flight disruption assistance

Set a price alert and Capital One will watch your flight 24/7 to notify you when prices drop—helping you save an average of 15% on airfare.

Capital One Business Travel includes add-on features for travelers to gain more flexibility and manage flight disruptions. For a fee, you can add flight disruption assistance to select flights. If your flight is canceled or delayed, or you experience a missed connection, flight disruption assistance gives you the option to easily rebook on any airline at no additional cost. Or you can choose a refund and keep your flight if you’re not satisfied with the rebooking options available.

Seamless travel management

You can control business travel—for yourself and your employees—in one place, helping you stay organized and informed. As a primary cardholder, you can:

  • Customize travel policies by setting maximum prices and fare classes for your employees

  • Assign admins to oversee and manage bookings while earning rewards on every purchase

  • Automatically upload travel receipts and track spending from one dashboard after enrolling in expense management

Extensive trip options

Browse over 200 airlines and 1 million hotels to find the best options for your company.

24/7 support

With 24/7 white-glove service, you’ll have access to live agents whenever you need assistance.

3. Travel protection

Eligible Capital One Business cards come with travel protection benefits that can help provide coverage while you’re away. Benefits vary depending on the card, as they’re typically determined by the card network.

Here are some travel protection benefits your Capital One Business card may include:

  • Trip delay insurance: If your trip is delayed due to a covered event, you could be reimbursed for expenses like meals or accommodations.

  • Trip cancellation/interruption insurance: If your trip is canceled or cut short due to a covered event, you could be reimbursed for nonrefundable expenses you may have already paid to the common carrier.

  • Baggage delay insurance: If your baggage is delayed during your trip, you could be reimbursed for essential purchases you make while you’re waiting for your luggage to arrive.

  • Lost luggage insurance: If your baggage can’t be located or is stolen, you could be reimbursed for its value and contents.

  • Travel accident insurance: If accidental death or dismemberment occurs while traveling on a common carrier, benefits could be provided.

  • Rental car insurance: Through the Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver or MasterRental Coverage, you may be protected against rental car damage, with coverage that may be primary or secondary.

The exact benefits, terms and conditions, and coverage amounts can vary, depending on your card. And you may need to contact the benefit administrator—instead of Capital One—to receive coverage. To determine which benefits apply to your specific card, you can check the cardholder benefits guide.

4. Lounge access

With eligible Capital One Business cards, you can enrich your journey with airport lounge access—where you’ll find a space designed for comfort and convenience before or between flights. Capital One Lounges are modern oases where you can relax and recharge with amenities that may include private workspaces, fitness rooms and chef-inspired food featuring regional flavors and curated cocktails.

  • Venture X Business cardholders: As a primary cardholder, you can enjoy complimentary access to Capital One Lounges and Capital One Landings. You can purchase access for up to four additional cardholders for an annual fee of $125 per cardholder. Cardholders on accounts where at least $75,000 is spent across the account annually can bring two complimentary guests to Capital One Lounges per visit and one complimentary guest to Capital One Landings per visit.

  • Venture Business: Primary cardholders, authorized users and authorized managers can purchase discounted passes to Capital One Lounge and Landing locations for themselves and each guest for $45 per visit per guest over the age of 18. Passes for guests ages 17 and under can be purchased for $25, and children under 2 can enter for free.

  • Other visitors: Any other traveler—including non-cardholders—can purchase Capital One Lounge and Landing passes at the standard rate of $90 per visit per guest at select locations.

Venture X Business cardholders also have access to 1,300+ participating Priority Pass lounges worldwide. Most Priority Pass lounges include free WiFi, charging stations and conference rooms for business meetings. You can also enjoy complimentary refreshments.

5. No foreign transaction fees

Capital One Business cards do not charge foreign transaction fees, which are surcharges—typically 1% to 3%—added to credit card purchases made outside the U.S. This means you can keep more in your business’s wallet, as foreign transaction fees can add up quickly when you’re making multiple company purchases abroad.

6. TSA PreCheck® or Global Entry

Venture X Business and Venture Business offer a statement credit of up to $120 that can be used to offset the fee for either TSA PreCheck® or Global Entry. You will be eligible for a credit after your application fee has been charged to your account, and you can redeem once every four years.

7. Transfer partners

One way to redeem the miles you’ve earned from business spending is to transfer them to select Capital One transfer partners or hotel loyalty programs, where they can be used for flights, hotel stays and other travel rewards. With over 15 transfer partners to choose from, you’re likely to find an option that helps you make the most of your miles.

8. Hertz status

Eligible Capital One Business cardholders can get status upgrades through Hertz. Upgraded Hertz statuses provide access to more rental vehicle options, member-only rates, the ability to skip the counter and additional points that can be used toward future rentals.

Venture X Business cardholders are eligible for Hertz President’s Circle® status, which offers guaranteed vehicle upgrades, 1.5 points for every dollar spent, access to the largest selection of premium vehicles and a dedicated customer service line.

Venture Business and VentureOne Business cardholders are eligible for Hertz Five Star® status, which offers free vehicle upgrades when available, 1.25 points for every dollar spent and access to a wider selection of premium vehicles.

9. Airport Butler

Eligible Capital One Business cardholders receive a $75 discount every time they book airport meet-and-greet services with Airport Butler. You’ll receive dedicated airport assistance exactly when you need it throughout your journey. Your personal Airport Butler concierge can greet you curbside or at your gate, help you navigate the busy terminal and stay by your side until departure.
