I needed a car but I wanted to no get just any car but a dream car. My credit has been in the poor side of the spectrum due to previous bad decisions and I knew that getting a car - let alone my dream car - would be a major challenge. I found the car I wanted thanks to Capital One and when I applied the financial manager told me that only Capital One approved of the loan. Knowing that my interest rate would be astronomical I agreed but when he came back to present me with the terms of the loan I was shocked at how fair Capitol One was. I drove away with my beautiful new Jeep and couldn’t be happier. Thanks for giving me a chance when no one else did and for helping guide me through the process, Capital One!

My overall experience was positive, however, I was somewhat disappointed wtih thew advertised pricing of the vehicles. Most every one was not the same at the dealership. Apparently all available rebates are taken off the sticker price, and that is the advertised price. Once at the dealership, i was informed that i did not qualify for most of these rebates, because I am not a member of the United Farmers Assn., or the National Floral Assn. of America, etc.... It probably told me this was the case somewhere in the fine print that I did not read, none the less, wasted time going to look at vehicles I thought were in my budget, only to find out that they weren't.

I have had many car loans and my recent experience with Capital One when I bought my new jeep was the easiest and best borrowing experience I've ever had. It took me (literally) less than 5 minutes to get prequalified online, provided a statement that I printed out and took to the dealer....and that was all of the actions I had to take to drive away in my new car. It saved me tons of time at the dealership and Cap One gave me a better interest rate than the dealer was offering. I thought there would be more online paperwork after purchasing the car but there was nothing except a "Congrats on your new Jeep and here is a link to your account". I went to the account and it was all set up, the Jeep was funded and my first payment was not due for 45 days. It truly does not get easier and more convenient than that!!!

I became a CapitalOne customer a few years ago to rebuild my credit after a divorce. They had been great to work with and quickly helped me rebuild. I decided on a Thursday night to do the AutoNavigator pre-qualification as we were ready to buy a car that weekend. I learned CapitalOne's AutoNavigator was more than a preapproval. At first I was concerned their AutoNavigator would limit our options to a few dealerships but I found most of the cars at large dealerships I had seen on other big sites. However, I found our perfect Jeep on AutoNavigator (not the big sites) the very next morning. I went to the dealership that night and happily drove home with our Jeep that same night! Being prequalified made the financing paperwork and discussion so fast and easy! Sure the dealership haggled on the final price but not the financing. The dealership tried to find me a better rate, they couldn't! I got a great rate, it made the somewhat frustrating process of buying a car easier, I knew what I was buying I was approved for and it literally took just a few minutes of time to prequalify. I received an email from CapitalOne the next morning about my auto loan. I used the link withing to set up my payments which was super easy and flexible in the web portal. In about 5 minutes, I broke my monthly payments into two and add a little extra to pay the car off a little early. Start to finish this was a great experience. When it is time to replace my truck, AutoNavigator is the way we will go. Highly recommended.

Capital one made this easy for us with Auto Navigator. We have our other vehicle financed through Capital One along with a credit card. It makes it easier to manage having everything with one lender and so far Capital One has treated us right! Capital One also had our back when we were having trouble with the dealer not wanting to run our auto financing through Capital One I made a call to Capital One Auto and explained what was going on and there was a lady named Shae who helped us and spoke with the sales guy and waited on the phone with us until they ran through Capital One. That is true customer support. I would love to give her a big thank thank you.

The pre-approval process with auto navigator was great! Our loan approval was .02% lower than the highest possible they had quoted us, which felt misleading. The loan finalization was a nightmare with frequent phone calls requesting the same information and being told that our document was not the right “pixel size” despite multiple changes and avenues of sending. There is no way to send your documents in person. It’s just a huge pain! We got our loan finalized and are waiting to re-fi with our credit union ASAP. We were loyal to Cap One before this and will be taking our credit cards elsewhere.

They made the entire process very simple and it was nice to not have the majority of the available cars in a single location, but when it came to the final APR rate there was one minor issue. The percentage that I was seeing within the navigator was a full 2% lower than what the dealer was bringing up in their navigator (my final rate). I found this to be rather misleading since that was one of the factors for what type/year of car I ended up purchasing. Even with this error I would still recommend the product, just be aware that what you see in your navigator may not match what the dealer sees.

I was a single mom, my credit was in the 500's, it seemed forever. With the help of Capitol One making good choices and payments on-time, I was able to pull myself out of a poor credit situation. I educated myself with Credit Wise through Capitol One. If you are in the market for a car use Auto Navigator. When I had questions the people were great. Never did they once talk down to me. I went online to do my search and then went to the dealer. Capitol One only uses dealers that are reputable. It was so easy. My new goal is to purchase a house through Capitol One. Very positive experience!! :)

I'm so happy with Capital One products and services. I recently purchased a car and used the dealer's financing. The next month I got an offer to re-fi through Capital One, I am saving $65/month now! This week we used Auto Navigator to purchase another car. Got a great rate on the car we wanted, went to the dealer, who tried to steer us to another bank with an outrageous rate! I insisted they use Capital One and the pre-approval letter I brought-got the rare quoted from Capital One. I would recommend their services/products to everyone!
