The first-generation Buick LaCrosse, a midsize sedan, went on sale for the 2005 model year. The second-generation LaCrosse arrived for the 2010 model year, growing in size to serve as a full-size premium sedan. That said, its trunk wasn't spacious, especially when equipped with the available eAssist mild-hybrid powertrain. For the 2017 model year, Buick released the third-generation LaCrosse, which offered a comfortable interior, good performance, and enough cargo space for a big sedan. However, the third-generation Buick LaCrosse lasted only three years in the U.S. market before it was discontinued.
