Volkswagen added an upgraded digital instrument cluster to the 2023 Atlas SE with Technology trim level. In addition, the automaker dropped the SEL R-Line from the lineup, reducing the number of models to five. A turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 235 horsepower is standard, and you can upgrade to a 276-hp V6. The EPA-estimated gas-mileage ratings range from 21/25/23 mpg in city/highway/combined driving to 18/23/20 mpg. The 2023 Volkswagen Atlas tows up to 5,000 pounds, seats up to seven occupants, and carries up to 96.8 cubic-feet of cargo.
