The Ram ProMaster is a traditional commercial van available in multiple payload capacity, length, and roof height configurations. Most are cargo vans, but you can also get a Ram ProMaster as a window van for carrying passengers or a chassis-cab model to upfit as you prefer. Unlike its primary rivals, the Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, the Ram ProMaster is front-wheel drive. However, like those two competitors, the ProMaster was designed and engineered for use in Europe and then repurposed for America, where its narrow and boxy dimensions work well in urban environments. Despite its European roots, Ram builds the ProMaster in Mexico.
