Kia in 2023 redesigned its Sportage, a compact five-passenger SUV, and added a hybrid version to the lineup. The 2023 hybrid electric vehicle in front-wheel drive form offers up to 43 mpg in combined city and highway driving. It's about 7 inches longer than the previous generation and has available all-wheel drive. The Sportage Hybrid puts an emphasis on comfort, with what Kia says is unusually generous legroom and plenty of cargo space: The 2023 model offers about 40 cubic feet of room behind the back seat and around 74 cubic feet of maximum volume.
