The Infiniti QX70 debuted in 2014 as the renamed FX midsize crossover SUV, although the QX70 3.7 and QX70 5.0 were direct carryovers of the FX37 and FX50. Nevertheless, all QX70 models remained feature-laden and performance-oriented. The QX70 3.7 had a 325-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 and rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The QX70 5.0 featured a 390-hp 5.0-liter V8 and standard AWD. The SUV’s dynamic handling and impressive power paired well with its sporty fastback design, and the QX70 could carry up to five people. In 2015, Infiniti dropped the QX70 5.0 V8 model. However, the V6 models continued through 2017 before Infiniti canceled the QX70 due to slowing sales and stiff competition.
