Car Overview
Acura NSX
Honda introduced the original NSX to serve as a halo vehicle for its fledgling Acura luxury brand. It arrived for the 1991 model year, blending exotic mid-engine design with the promise of greater reliability than the temperamental Ferraris and Lamborghinis of the era. The second-generation Acura NSX debuted for the 2016 model year following a decade-long hiatus. It served as a showcase for the automaker’s sport-hybrid powertrain technology, but the NSX’s technological sophistication did not translate into sales. As a result, 2022 was the final year of production for the second-generation NSX. For that year only, the car came in Type S specification and made 600 hp. Acura claimed it could accelerate to 60 mph in three seconds.
