The Nissan Armada is a full-size, three-row SUV with seating for up to eight people. Nissan based the first-generation Armada on the same platform as the Titan pickup truck, then switched to the global Nissan Patrol platform for the second-generation Armada. If you look closely, you can see that the Armada is essentially the same SUV as the Infiniti QX80. Thanks to its basis on the Patrol, the Armada offers commendable off-roading capability combined with good towing capacity. Cargo space falls short of rivals, though, and the standard V8 engine is anything but fuel-efficient. Nevertheless, a refresh for 2021 brought updated design and technology to keep the Nissan Armada as competitive as possible.
