Cadillac replaced the discontinued SRX model with the 2017 XT5 midsize luxury SUV. It comes in four trim levels: XT5 (base), Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum. All models have a 3.6-liter V6 with 310 horsepower. The EPA-estimated gas mileage for front-wheel drive models is 22 mpg in combined city and highway driving, while all-wheel-drive versions are rated at 21 mpg combined. The 2017 Cadillac XT5 tows up to 3,500 pounds, seats five people, and provides 63 cubic-feet of maximum cargo space. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is standard, and safety features including blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision alert, and adaptive cruise control are available.
