If cars were on your radar in the 1990s, the Acura Integra likely registered a blip thanks to the way it paired refinement and performance in an affordable package. A recent reboot not only revived the Integra name, but it also seems to have sparked an interest in manual transmissions. 2023 BMW M2
Potentially one of the last BMWs to ever boast a manual gearbox and a trio of pedals, the M2 is a fitting swan song. Honda offers a six-speed manual on its Civic compact car, but you'll need to narrow down this broad lineup to find one. Instead, head toward a Toyota dealer, where you'll find the GR Supra that the Japanese automaker developed in partnership with BMW. (The Germans call their version Z4.) To get a six-speed manual transmission, you'll have to upgrade to the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six, but with 382 hp on offer, it's a worthy upgrade. Starting around $55,000.

2023 Volkswagen Golf
The front-drive GTI and the AWD R are the lone versions of VW's compact four-door Golf hatchback sold in the U.S. Both come standard with a six-speed manual and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with the GTI sporting a 241-hp tune and the R stepping up with a healthy 315-hp version. Starting at about $32,000.
