“I cannot say enough amazing things about Kara Vervair, Vehicle Rental Specialist at Alexander Toyota Yuma.
I was completely stranded in Yuma after my engine blew in Quartzsite, AZ. I had my pitbull with me, and no one would rent me a car—or even let me inside—because of my dog. I had to tow my own car using a U-Haul just to make it to Yuma, and Hyundai (right next door) couldn’t help either due to distance policies.
Kara was the only person who stepped up. She worked with Hyundai while they called around trying to help me, and when nothing else worked, Kara went above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in customer service. I didn’t even know how I was going to return the U-Haul and get back before she got off work—so Kara stayed late, came and picked me and my dog up herself from the U-Haul location. My phone was dying, it was getting dark, and I was terrified. She made sure I wasn’t alone.
She got me into a 2025 minivan (the only thing available) just to make sure I was safe and able to get home. She walked me through roadside assistance, checked on my safety, and genuinely cared that I made it back to Tucson okay. I cried. I hugged her. And I will never forget her kindness.
Kara is a truly beautiful, compassionate human being. She treated me like a person—not a problem. She is an angel, and I don’t say that lightly. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her that day.
Thank you so much, Kara, for everything you did—for the things I can put into words and the things I can’t. You are unforgettable and absolutely amazing.”

“Came in from out of state for an oil change, wipers and rotation. Needed a battery. System was down and Adrian Torres my service advisor got a hold of my home town Toyota dealer and got the invoice info for the battery warranty, saving me $120!!!! Exceptional customer service, quality work and overall a 10 star experience!! Thank you Adrian and Alexander Toyota technicians for taking the BEST care of my needs and getting me (and the cat)back on the road safely!! I nominate Adrian as Service Employee of the Month of January 2026. He deserves the recognition 100%!!!😊 I cannot express enough how grateful and happy I am with my service and my complimentary car wash!”

He took the time to explain all the features, answered every question honestly, and made sure I felt comfortable with my decision—no pressure at all. “Bush League from front to back. I bought a 2016 jeep in July 2025 and one month later it needed a transmission. Two stars instead of one because they gave me a warranty that covered a remanned transmission.
I covered my rental car out of pocket for 2 weeks before they finally gave me on for a day.
I called multiple times and emailed both the GM and the Service manager. The service manager was the only one to get back to me. He was both dismissive and condescending in saying “ well you did by a ten year old jeep”. My service adviser was also no help, he gave me the phone number to the warranty company but only after asking me to sign a “will pay $200$” diagnostic form.
In September the emissions module went out, and today the remote start went out. Both will be out of pocket expenses.
This will probably be my last jeep product, however it must certainly be my last Alexander product. Definitely have a 3rd party inspect any used car you think about buying from any Alexander dealership.”

“Just had the 1st service plus recalls done on my Tacoma was scheduled for a 6:30 am appt, called to confirm shuttle service times day before, was told shuttle services start at 7:00 am. Showed up at 7am told by service advisor shuttle starts at 7:45, 8:00 so he dropped me off back home in my vehicle. Picked up vehicle asked if my truck was washed as requested, it did not not look clean other than windshield wiped off. “I was told it’s a courtesy wash”…so that must mean it’s ok to do a terrible job. Don’t get me wrong I definitely didn’t expect a detail. Asked for service manager he also said it’s a courtesy wash, like what to you expect??? He said many places don’t even offer car wash anymore, I said why even offer it if it’s not a car wash rather it’s a wipe…. Huge disappointment, I would had rather been told they don’t offer shuttle, and don’t offer car wash instead of all the dissatisfaction. To me it’s a big deal to offer a service and it be at least satisfactory. Makes me wonder how well the vehicle oil change/service & recall repairs went if what I can see is so unacceptable. Sad to say how disappointed I am in Toyota right now.”
