“Exceptional Experience — THIS Is How Buying a Car Should Feel... You Delivered My Dad's DREAM Durango!!
After a very negative experience at another dealership, my dad was feeling awful about a vehicle he got stuck with. Every time he looked at it, he felt taken advantage of.
Hoping to turn things around, he found a Dodge Durango Citadel online at Holler Driver’s Mart in Winter Park and asked me to go with him for support.
From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was different.
We were greeted by Dario, a fantastic young man originally from Brazil, whose kindness and enthusiasm immediately stood out — not pushy, not scripted, just genuinely caring. You could tell right away that he values people, not just transactions.
As Dario pulled the Durango around for us, we noticed another couple outside celebrating their new vehicle with their salesman — smiling ear to ear, high-fives and fist bumps all around. I remember thinking, “That is exactly how customers should feel when they drive off a lot.”
Then we saw my dad’s Durango Citadel… and it was perfect.
Loaded with safety features (very important for my dad in his 70s), immaculate inside and out with beautiful burgundy leather, not a scratch on it, engine so clean you could eat off of it, and it drove like a dream.
A night-and-day difference from the bare-bones, damaged vehicle he had gotten stuck with just a couple weeks before.
The only question was — could they actually help get him out of that situation?
That’s when Gerald, one of the sales managers, stepped in alongside Dario. Both listened with genuine care and compassion as my dad explained what he had been through. They reviewed his paperwork and immediately recognized the same concerns we had.
Instead of brushing it off, they went to work.
Gerald partnered with Rey from the finance team, and together they crafted a deal that allowed my dad to move out of a vehicle he hated and into the one he truly wanted — with a better interest rate, transparent terms, and no unnecessary extras.
Rey went above and beyond. He carefully walked my dad through every detail of the new deal and even reviewed the previous dealership paperwork with a highlighter, educating him on what could be canceled and refunded.
Because of that guidance, my dad was able to recover $5,400 from the prior dealership — dramatically lowering what he ultimately had to bring to the table.
Yes, he’s still slightly upside down due to the previous situation, but this time it was absolutely worth it — because now he is in a vehicle he loves, feels safe in, and is genuinely proud to drive.
When they delivered the Durango with a bow on the hood and celebrated with him, it was a full-circle moment.
THIS is how a dealership should operate.

“I worked with Mohan and Sammy on a vehicle purchase of a Nissan passenger van. And they were both great. Mohan sent me videos and kept in contact with me back-and-forth and allowed my mechanic to come do a full service check on the vehicle before buying it. Everything was as they described on the vehicle. The whole experience was excellent from the salesman all the way to when I got to the Sales office took a total of an hour and 45 minutes to complete all paperwork financing cleaning the vehicle etc. what a great experience. I will definitely recommend them to anybody!!”

“I Have bought countless vehicles over the years. But this was one of the Better buying experience.
NO BS GAMES like a lot of other dealerships. Driversmart carry’s quality used vehicles at good prices clearly posted up front on website. Staff cannot do enough for you. Would recommend to anyone. Big shout out to John my sales guy. Ask for him when go to buy a car / Truck. Also to Ray the finance guy who got even better rate than I had secured, Ray is up front Not pushy just very helpful”

“Wow. Wow. Wow. That’s all I can say. I’ve never experienced such amazing customer service! With this experience only being my second time buying a car for myself, Adam, Matt and sadly I cannot remember the gentleman who also assisted us in the finance department, made it seamless. The same friendly smile I was welcomed with was carried through the whole process. No question or request was denied. It felt like everyone I spoke to was a long time friend. They explained the whole process to me and walked me through questions every step of the way. I even got live updates through text from Adam which made me feel prioritized and supported the whole way through. Within a few hours I got my dream Bronco at an amazing price.
