Dealt with Michael he’s a great guy super respectful and from the same area that my wife and I are about to move to we bought my wife a 2026 Yukon and had a blast doing it with Michael. I told Michael that I’ll be back for a second vehicle from him, for myself within the same month and he said I’d get a deal. I was going to get myself a GMC Denali ultimate 2500. I was given an out the door price of 97,500. What seemed a little high so I did my research and got multiple quotes from dealers in Jacksonville, Kingston, and near Raleigh, they came back at 93,000 for the EXACT truck. To see that this dealer dealership and staff, up charge their customers, with no room for the buyer to negotiate. It’s sickening. Then when the buyer comes to them and says hey, I like you, but can you match closer to this deal. They just say “here’s your money back, and hangs up” Upsetting. But guess it’s road trip weekend !

In a world where bad reviews are popular, let’s exercise giving positive reviews too when the business deserves it. For me, it wasn’t so much about this business as much as it was the representative who helped me through the process specifically. I wasn’t familiar with Bob King Dealership or GM products for that matter. Therefore, greatly appreciated the help and guidance from Jackson (Jack ) Smith, the sales advisor I met the day I randomly decided to stop by and browse. Jack could tell right away I had stepped into unfamiliar territory and took the time to teach me all about the vehicle I was interested in buying. He was incredibly responsive to all my questions whether in person, phone, or text messages. Highly impressed with his patience and perseverance while trying to locate the vehicle we had chosen. We hope to continue this positive journey with Bob King GMC as new owners and look forward to the same experience with service - and who knows, maybe sales again in the future. Thank you Jack!

I looked at many different makes/model of trucks and settled on GMC. I had a great buying experience. My sales consultant was Bob Badman and he was excellent. He answered all my questions and was never pushy. Honestly I was looking to purchase something used but Bob was able to put me in a new truck at a great price. Bob and GMC have been fantastic to work with.

Poor service after the sale. The vehicle was sold to me with squeaking brake pads. When I later brought it in for a separate warranty issue (which was ignored and never properly acknowledged), I also asked if anything could be done about the constant brake squeal. I was told by two different levels of staff that all Acadias have squeaky brakes all the time, that GMC is aware of it, and that nothing would be done to correct it. They further stated that the problem is “impossible to fix” and will continue for the life of the vehicle. They essentially admitted that brakes should not squeak constantly, acknowledged that mine do, and then refused to take any responsibility for addressing the issue. Very disappointing representation of the GMC brand and poor character for a business that should stand behind the vehicles it sells.

As always, the dealership staff were all very helpful and friendly. My sales person Kyle worked very hard to help me find what I wanted and the finance office was efficient, helpful, and quick in getting the paperwork completed. Overall a very pleasant buying experience. Would definitely recommend Bob King to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
