I'm writing, in part, to acknowledge the terrific service they provided, and, in part, to warn potential buyers NOT to buy a Volvo XC40 or XC40 Recharge with Pirelli tires. We've had our XC40 Recharge for less than two years; at 16,000 miles, yes only 16,000 miles, all four Pirelli tires (50000 mile warranty) were thoroughly worn and required replacement. We certainly hadn't anticipated that (very high) cost so soon after purchasing the car. Volvo should stand behind these tires if the company chooses to equip the XCV40 with them. Yet neither Pirelli or Fathers & Sons Volvo has been willing to stand behind the tires. Makes me think twice about buying a Volvo again despite the outstanding salespeople.”
