PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE
About four months ago, I bought an Acura SUV from this company. I wish I hadn't bought it. Let me tell you the story.
I saw the car on the internet and I liked it. I called and said I would come and pick up the car. The woman at the accounting department was interested. Thank you. If it comes to technical maintenance, there was a friend named John who explained the car to me and told me about the maintenance of the cars. I asked if you could please check it a second time. They said okay, there is no problem, you can come and pick it up.
When I went there, I found some errors. First, there was no spare tire. Second, there was no spare tire tool. Third, there was no device to remove the spare tire and I saw scratches on the left side of the car. I presented these and they took care of the scratches on the car. They said they would order the spare tire and tools and give you a new one. I said okay and we agreed on everything. I bought the car. I'm not a mechanic so I don't know much about cars. When I first drove it, I didn't feel anything. But after a week, I noticed a noise coming from the rear two parts of the car. I took the car to Midas Auto Service for maintenance. The guys there said that both shock absorbers of the car were flat. I bought the car and told the dealer about this. The dealer told me there was no problem and said you could go. When I insisted, they went for a test drive and said the shock absorbers were broken. They gave me an appointment for the next week and I went a week later. My spare tire and tire removal bar had arrived at that time. I took the spare tire but I couldn't find a place to put it because they didn't tell me about the spare tire tool. Then when I asked about the shock absorber, they told me they ordered the wrong part and I had to come back a week later. By the way, I live in New Jersey and I found the car. The dealer is in New York. There are 100 miles between us and the round trip is 200 miles.
When I went back a week later, it was already the fifth week. I returned the car to the technical service staff. They told me to come and get it in 2 hours. Of course, I didn't see what they were doing inside because they didn't let me in. They didn't show me the part. They didn't give me the old part. They told me it was ready and said you can go. I took the car and went, but two days later I saw that the same problem continued. I showed it to the mechanic in my area. The mechanic took out the shock absorber and showed me that they hadn't changed the shock absorber at all, they hadn't touched it at all. I don't know how they did anything, but the sound had been off for two days. It was broken in my residence and they didn't do it and told me they had fixed it. And by the way, they gave me the wrong tire iron to remove the tire. I bought the spare tire holder with my own money, $80 from Amazon. I bought the iron from the Acura service center, $19. The shock absorber cost me $400. The two of them cost me $800, and replacing them cost me $1500. Including all the expenses, the round trip cost me $2000.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS CAR DEALER
The worst salesman I have ever seen is the one who is greedy for money and doesn't care about customers. Don't waste your money. If you want to waste your money, definitely take someone who knows about cars with you because these salesmen lie. Except for the lady in accounting, she is a good lady. Thank you. Everyone else is just empty liars.
The products I ordered here and the old shock absorber that came out of the car. Do you think a shock absorber that is only a month old can wear out this much? It's beyond impossible. I bought all the parts you see here myself. It cost $2000 including labor.”

“I’ve been in the market on buying my first car since March 2024. Buying a used car can be and was very exhausting. I’ve been to multiple dealerships looking for a used jeep that wasn’t so expensive. I always wanted a used car where I didn’t have to worry about it getting scratched or dinged from back in the city. I went to 4 dealerships in one day in July 2024 and wanted to cry and give up my search until I came across my dream car which is a Jeep wrangler unlimited Sahara at Rockland motors.
I immediately fell in love with it. It’s a used 2015 jeep wrangler unlimited Sahara with black leather seats, hard and soft top, heated seats and it’s in great condition considering the year. The previous owner kept fantastic care of the car. This staff at Rockland motors are AMAZING!!! everyone was very kind, welcoming and answered all my questions and concerns. Diane and Steve are honestly the best! They kept me in the loop and up to date throughout the process of buying the car and during the inspections. Diane explained in depth about the warranty options and found the best price for me. Absolutely love her! Steve made sure I was super comfortable and happy with my first car but also made sure it was safe. He replaced all the tires, detail the car and made sure everything was in tip top shape.
During my whole process of car shopping and trying to figure out which car I wanted, I am so proud and beyond excited that my first car is my dream car since I was 9 years old and I have Rockland motors to thank. They made my whole car buying experience a pleasant one and I will definitely do more business with Rockland motors and I highly recommend others to them. I’ve purchased the car 2-3 weeks ago and I’m falling more and more in love with it
