“I brought my Crosstrek in because of a slow leak from a flat tire. The service associate told me he would submit it for warranty approval but said it would likely be denied because the tread depth was below 3/32”.
He then informed me they no longer carried the same tire and proceeded to hand me three separate estimates for a full set of four replacement tires—each option priced over $1,100. I handed them back and told him I wasn’t there to purchase four new tires, especially at those prices.
I asked if they could simply repair the puncture. He responded, “We don’t do repairs, but we can fill it with air so you can take it somewhere else to have it repaired.”
I said, “Okay.”
He replied, “Have a seat and we’ll bring it around for you. It will just be a few minutes.” It was clear he was disappointed the sale hadn’t gone through.
I waited in the lobby for at least 20 minutes before he came back and said, “Well, I was surprised. Subaru approved a replacement for your tire. We’ll have it ready in another 15–20 minutes.”
So we went from “probably not covered” and an attempt to sell me $1,100 worth of tires I didn’t need—to a full warranty replacement.
Is it just me, or does that seem questionable?
Unfortunately, this is the second time I’ve experienced what felt like an upsell attempt when I was simply trying to exercise my warranty rights.
At this point, I don’t feel comfortable bringing my car there—but I do have a lifetime tire warranty. It seems like I may have to go through this routine every time I need a replacement.”

“Had the car I wanted (called before-2025 Forrester Hybrid Touring-white to make sure it was still there)
.Fair discount for a sought after car. No pressure. Me and wife took test drive on our own. After deal was concluded; had tech specialist go over all the function and set up our phones, profiles and seating positions and turn off or on all our individual preferences. The financing was as about as good as you can get. So I would rate them a solid A!”

“Kevin was absolutely incredible—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely easy to work with. He made the whole process simple, seamless, and stress-free, and it was honestly one of the best car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. The entire team at Subaru of Wesley Chapel was just as impressive—everyone we interacted with was friendly, upbeat, and brought great energy, which made the experience actually enjoyable and memorable. We’re extremely happy we chose to do business with Kevin and this dealership, and we’re looking forward to working with them again in the future. Also a big shout out to Hipolito! He was a pleasure to work with and a huge help throughout the process.”

“Great experience. John DeMarco was our salesman and was very helpful in explaining everything including the settings in the new car. Financing was a breeze and was quick for us on a Friday evening. Came back the next day to bring some things and John was super helpful again with questions. Kevin Lin also super personable and helpful with anything we needed. Shevon Murren was our finance guy and was great at explaining all the things that come with that. Highly recommend. One of my best experiences and I’m not a fan of dealerships or buying cars at all.”

“This was the most pleasant buying experience I have ever had. I truly believe that Subaru of Wesley Chapel wants to curate a customer for life. Never did I feel pressure. Chris, my sales associate was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and I believe, transparent. He responded to emails and texts immediately and at all hours. His manager Keith, and even the finance manager Bradley, were all great to work with. I know I got a great deal on my car, and I thank all of them for helping to make this happen.”
