“We are relatively pleased with our experience of purchasing a new 2024 manual transmission Versa back on 26 December 2023. The car itself has had some issues and 3-4 recalls since purchase, but that cannot be blamed on the dealership. Moreover, Nissan has proactively notified me of those recalls and repaired them for free. Although it was not at Boucher due to the distance from my house, my local dealership even provides me with a free loaner vehicle during recall repairs. They loaned me an automatic Versa, confirming that I made the right choice in going with the stick shift.
Jacob Kaminski, the salesman who handled the transaction was pleasant, and the price with transaction fees and taxes was even a little lower than what he had quoted me on the phone. I had been on the way to another Nissan dealership when I called him for a quote and his price was so reasonable that I changed my direction and never even visited the other dealership.
The only reason for not giving five stars is that we had asked other members of the team to assess the trade-in value of our Toyota Rav4 and they never got back to us. We were waiting for them and ultimately had to approach them for their response to our question. We could have left the dealership much earlier if they had had the courtesy of letting us know their assessment without having to be prompted. As the dealership was largely empty at the time, it was clearly not because they were busy with other customers.
Since our purchase, Nissan Lake County has consistently followed up on the sale to check in. Were they closer to home, I would likely be doing my recall and other work there.
While I can't unreservedly praise the Nissan Versa, I am so grateful to have a manual transmission car that I can comfortably drive (I'm 6'4") and that cost me less than $20k new after all fees and taxes. When I calculated inflation, it was cheaper than the $300 Model T back in 1927, and I am absolutely positive that it is more comfortable ;-).
If I had one wish, it would be that the manual transmission had been available in a model with foldable back seats and an upgraded entertainment system with Android Auto.”

“Buying a 2026 Nissan Rogue wasn’t in my plans but Suzy from Boucher showed us some of the available SUVs and my wife ended up falling in love with the Nissan Rogue. Suzy was very knowledgeable with the vehicle and the more she taught us, the more we liked the car. Suzy wasn’t pushy and made us feel like she had our best interest at heart. Then Adam from finances helped us out, he wasn’t pushy either and respected our decisions to decline certain extra offers such as extended warranties. We had problems with my loan provider and needed to get a cashiers check in order to close the deal. The only problem was that the closest credit union branch was an hour away in Gurnee, Illinois, so Adam even hooked me up with a dealership car so I could make the 1 hour drive and go get the cashiers check I needed in order to close the deal. Overall, we are very pleased with the experience, the service and above all we love our brand new 2026 Nissan Rogue. Please go ask for Suzy when y’all go buy a car at Boucher. If she’s not in her desk, you’ll probably find her outside pushing the snow off the cars.”

“George Ovies is the best salesman I’ve ever met. His knowledge of the vehicle was outstanding answering all our questions and making the whole process as smooth as possible. PS the Pathfinder is an awesome car. Thanks George!”

“We bought a 2019 Ram from them and the first 45 days of owning it we had it a week. The Air suspension still leaks after they supposedly fixed it. The tanu cover.
Latches were broken. We didn't see that before we drove it home. They won't repair that because that's not a necessity.
They had to repair axle seals, and instead of putting the gasket on the rear diff, they globbed it with liquid gasket. They also
Stepped on one of the key fobs and sent us to somebody that was supposed to replace it for us. And that person doesn't return any of our calls or messages.
As far as the sales department goes, our salesman was phenomenal.Wonderful man, mike. But the service department is absolutely pathetic when you pay that kind of money for a vehicle.Everything should work on it properly.”

“Paul Grennier did a great job assisting me in the purchase of my new car. Paul even delivered the floor mats that I ordered to my house and installed them for me. My experience was much more relaxed than I expected.
No pressure!”
