The clock spring in my car broke about 4 weeks ago while at college in Saranac Lake. Spent weeks hopping from different mechanics trying to get it replaced so I could get home safely. No one could get the job done for MILES. after shop hopping for so long I doubled down and realized I needed to go to a knowledge shop. I called right after getting my 7th shut down on repair and they got me in the next day. Though I had to drive a decent distance, I knew it would finally get fixed. My servicer was Tom Avenengo. He got my car in quickly, and replaced the part in an impeccable time. He even found another thing that needs attention for my own safety (sad for my pockets), but I’m grateful he noticed it and explained to me the importance. He was very professional, kind, knowledgeable and extremely kind during my time of need. I know I can trust this company now, and especially Tom.

Bought a 2021 gli from here. Cole immediately tried to pull up my loan on my previous vehicle before even mentioning wanting to trade it in. He was also very late to a set time appointment we had. I had to drive over 2 hours for such a poor buying experience. Won’t be doing business here again

I got the adblue warning light of death driving up to Clayton from Saratoga with my family all packed up for 4th of July weekend. For those who don't know it means if you shut your car off it will not start again. Called Bob Johnsons VW and they said they would see me (other VW dealerships told me they were too busy or didn't even pick up). To make matters worse my hood latch cable broke on site when I went to pop the hood when I got there, so I literally could not get into my engine compartment. Everyone I interacted with at the dealership was top notch and the mechanics diagnosed and showed me the problem I was having with faulty sensors. They repaired my car and also tuned up my brakes which I knew needed to be done. What makes this place 5/5 stars though is they fetched my hood latch cable for me as a courtesy and left it sticking out the front of my car so I could access the engine. On my way home on Sunday my engine oil light went on and I was able to use pliers to grab the cable and pull my hood open and top it off with some spare oil I keep in my trunk so I could make it home with my family. The people at this place are top notch and kind. Thank you!
