“Huge shoutout to the guys at Koons! Bakary took such good care of me during and after the car buying process! The previous owner only turned in one key, Bakary went out of his way to make sure I got both keys after the purchase. Sale was smooth and easy! The day after I purchased, my brake sensor light came on and I called Bakary, he told me to bring it in the following Monday. Service ordered parts without my permission and told me I had to pay 50% - Bakary and Ky advocated for me and took care of it. Honestly the most pleasant car buying experience I’ve had!! Thank you Bakary, Ky & the Koons team!”

“I have had new cars in the past and part of the new car perk is a superior service experience. Prior dealerships would run my car through a wash and top off my gas tank. There are no perks or consideration for bringing back your vehicle to them. I live a bit away from this location but will likely opt to take it closer to home. My advisor was not very communicative, a part of my window needed to be repaired. At some point the technician took the window piece off but didn't put it back properly leaving a large gap. It rained while waiting to hear back from the dealership who never addressed this of called me back after I reached out three times. The piece is repaired now but the work in my opinion is just ok.”

“Dear Koons Tysons Chevy GMC Team, I’m not usually the type to write reviews, but after our recent experience, I felt morally obligated to shout it from the rooftops: THIS is how buying a car should feel! We walked into Koons around 11:30 AM on a Friday just expecting to test drive a Traverse RS or High Country. Instead, we stumbled into what felt like the VIP experience of car buying. We met our salesman Pepyno and asked to see a Chevy Traverse RS or High Country. Without missing a beat, he showed us a Traverse RS on the showroom floor that immediately caught my wife's eye. Nine minutes later; yes, NINE Pepyno had the bay doors open like a dramatic movie scene and waved us out of the showroom. (Yes, my wife drove it out like the boss she is.) After a fun test drive, we came back to find a High Country model parked out front waiting for us. Pepyno walked my wife through the features and differences of both trims with the kind of care you’d expect from someone showing you their prized classic car, not just making trying to make a sale. We chose the RS (the blacked-out look won us over), and they valued our trade-in on the spot, matching CarMax without batting an eye. The final price was MSRP + taxes, tags, and registration. That’s it. No sneaky fees, no mysterious “dealer add-ons,” no “wait, what is this $900 line item for undercoating I didn’t ask for, no shenanigans at all. PLUS, we got the GM Military Discount so we walked out paying less than MSRP. Then came the finance portion, which is usually where the fun dies. Not this time. Mr. Donavan Murphy met us in the lounge, greeted us like old friends, and asked about my military service. Turns out we served in the same branch! Semper Paratus! We talked about boot camp, swapped stories, and laughed for a solid hour. I never buy extended warranties. I did this time. Why? Because when your shipmate offers it, you support your crew. Afterward, Pepyno gave us a full dealership tour, personally swapped our plates, and then sat with my wife to walk her through every bell and whistle like Super Cruise, Park Assist, Google Assistant, and the OnStar setup. He didn’t hand us the keys and vanish. He made sure we knew our new car inside and out before we left. I genuinely don’t know how to express just how satisfied and grateful we are. Buying a car is usually stressful, confusing, and kind of soul draining. But at Koons Tysons, it felt like catching up with friends and getting handed keys to a new whip. To the powers that be: Please give Pepyno and Donavan raises, free lunch, a parade or whatever it takes to keep these guys around. The Lorenzo family will definitely be back.
