“Some of the people who work at the Torrington Ford dealer were helpful and otherwise nice. However, when I purchased a certified preowned, it was delivered to me dirty. It still had mulch in the back of it. This was even in spite of me requesting it be cleaned. When the salesmen called and told me it was ready 40 short minutes later, I knew what the result would be. But they did clean it after the fact, kinda.
The truck had a defect a few months in and leaked water. It ruined a BCM, blower motor, and molded the interior of the truck. It took them a good 5 weeks to repair it, and they delivered it to me still smelling ripe of mold, with face masks from the mechanics in my center console. I left the truck there for a couple more weeks to no avail. Ford corporate refused to help, and honestly Torrington Ford didn’t do much to help either. The owner was present at least, and they did offer money to buy it back, at a loss. So, there it is. Some of the people were fine. But as a whole they can’t really seem to do the 100%. And I’m home now fixing the truck myself. So, lesson learned I guess.”
