Lanorris Sawyer at CarMax is truly exceptional! He deserves a PROMOTION for going above and beyond!! From start to finish, he provided outstanding customer service and maintained a high level of professionalism. I had a very complex situation involving an out-of-state title, and he patiently walked me through every step of the process. What could have been extremely stressful was handled with clarity, care, and confidence. Because of his support, I was able to successfully purchase my vehicle—a Porsche Macan—and also sell my previous car to CarMax. I never felt rushed or dismissed despite the complexity of my unique situation. I highly recommend Lanorris Sawyer to anyone in the market for a vehicle. If you’re considering a Porsche Macan or any luxury vehicle, CarMax is absolutely the place to go—especially because of MaxCare. The peace of mind that comes with coverage up to 125,000 miles is unmatched and was a major deciding factor for me. DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THIS CARMAX LOCATION! I had a very disappointing experience at this CarMax. I asked them specifically to check for rust, and they told me the car was fine. After purchasing, an independent inspection (which I paid $55 for) revealed severe undercarriage rust, and CarMax refused to reimburse me even though they lied and clearly missed it. When I tried to find another vehicle, they told me I’d have to spend more money and accept a higher payment instead of trying to work with me. Several employees even admitted to me that if they were me, they’d look elsewhere because of the conditions of cars they’ve seen here, along with dissatisfied customers. Overall, the customer service and management showed no urgency, no concern for safety, and very poor problem-solving. When you arrive, most of the employees are texting on their phones and grouped together having side conversations. All they care about is finessing individuals out of thousands of dollars and making commission! I don’t recommend buying a car from this location! Go to a REPUTABLE car company, I ended up going with Chevrolet instead and I’m very happy with my purchase.

The staff were very professional with conducting their job duties. Thanks to Angela at the check in window, Matthew my Sales Representative with giving his honest opinion of the car I were interested in. Aaron who I did all my paperwork signing he explained everything that I had to sign. Great Team.
