“Purchased a 2026 Corvette C8 from Ted Britt Chevrolet (Sterling, VA) on 02/24/2026. The finance manager, William Allen, misled me into buying a service contract, saying it was required for loan approval — it was not After confirming with the loan company, I have since asked them to cancel the service contract asap n refund the 4k to the loan company, also Ill be filing a complaint with the attorney generals office so things like this don’t happen to military folks
As an active duty service member, I know this type of coercion is illegal under the Military Lending Act. Buyers, read carefully and don’t let them pressure you into optional products.”

“Decent price on a used car - but don’t go here for anything other than just the car.
Shady, scam like place with warranties and any extras, unfortunately. Went here for a used car and there was no liability for the dealership the moment we drove off the lot. They went back on their word for things such as filling the gas tank up completely - we only got half at first with a ton of excuses for not filling it all the way up, but then they did come around and fill the rest of it. We asked multiple times what the Ted Britt 4 Life warranty covers as well as the extra coating protectant inside and out. They have a speech they give you, so everyone is consistent. But no one can give you specifics. I asked for an itemized list and no one can seem to find one, not even a manager. They also have inconsistencies on paperwork, but not worth the call to fight because they say they cover something but then later say they don’t for the same document.
They always say just a few more minutes. We spent 5 hrs there and they never offered a drink or snack. Customer service is lacking. I had to ask for a drink, and they gave one, but to not offer tells you they don’t care about anything other than making money. The sales people clearly make good money on the cars, and they are very reluctant to budge on price.
Also, the finance guy was reluctant to tell me specifics. They put things lumped in a monthly payment, yet the payment went up significantly and wouldn’t tell me how much it was outright. They just try to take advantage of people. They got us a little, but not as badly as I’m sure others have done.
Stay away from this dealership and all others under Ted Britt. Don’t waste your time with repairs here from all the bad reviews I’ve read. (Take the negative reviews seriously.) Like I said, if you find a car, great, but it is sold as is, don’t fall for any extras. You’re just handing them money.
There are other fantastic dealerships - CMA’s in general are good and some have a legit lifetime warranty where you can get your car serviced anywhere. Keystone Ford is fantastic, and the ford extended warranties are great and aren’t tied to a dealer. Front Royal Ford and GMC/Buick are also fantastic compared to Ted Britt. Look elsewhere if you want a good experience and transparency and more honesty than we got from Ted Britt Chantilly.”

“I purchased my Equinox in MD, and have gone to only 3 other service appointments since. My first appointment was here and my second was accidentally made at some other dealership in Chantilly. I will only be coming here in future. The service here is top-notch, and appointments are completed in a timely and professional manner. There are absolutely no surprises and consent for every addition is sought in advance. Communication was clear and everything was made as convenient as possible. I am grateful.”

He took the time to describe the car, answered all my questions, ensured I felt comfortable during the test drive, and never applied pressure throughout the process.
The price negotiation was smooth and transparent, making the entire purchase process remarkably easy—honestly one of the most effortless car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. I was also impressed by the dealership’s efficient use of electronic documentation, a big screen on desk, which made the paperwork and signing process quick and straightforward.
