“I took the train to Springfield to test drive a car at Green Dodge I'd gotten pre approval to finance through Capital One. Working with Ivan Blackwell, I had a 3:40pm deadline to make a deal before I'd need to catch the train back home. At 3:00, I was signing the contract for a much better vehicle with a much better finance deal than I'd walked in with. The next day we were able to transfer the extended warranty to a dealership closer to home. Five stars.”

“Purchased our 2014 Expedition on 10/25/25, but after our initial test drive found that the brakes they had recently replaced were faulty due to a caliper seizing up. They were very much “we’re going to take care of this” and they did with out any hesitation.
We weren’t able to come pick up the vehicle until 10/30/25 giving them 4 business days to correct this issue. We left and 5 minutes into our 2 hour trip home when I hear a noise when hitting the brakes, a noise like something fell off the car, and then no brakes with sudden jerking of the wheel.
I called my sales person and told him what happened, he immediately went to the service department and they got a tow truck sent out to us to bring the vehicle back and repair it. While waiting on the vehicle to be repaired, we spoke to the service manager, Carly Crawford, who showed no sympathy or accountability of a safety concern and all I was met with was “we don’t have actual technicians here on Saturday, which is when the issue was initially found. It was probably a lube tech who did the repair and he was just doing the best he could, but we have a qualified tech on it now who will get it right”, all while to busy on her phone to really seem to care. To which I asked why an under qualified tech is making repairs to my vehicle and why wasn’t it given to someone more capable considering I couldn’t take delivery of the vehicle for another 4 days.
So not getting anywhere with that I asked to speak to a sales manager, Jackson Wagoner. We were told the sales manager was on lunch, but would speak with this very shortly, however, this was not true as the sales manager found it more important to eat his lunch than come to speak to us about neglect of a safety concern on a vehicle we were just sold. At this point I was losing my cool and maybe got a little heated with this manager as he also seemed to have no sense of urgency, no sense of caring, and just an overall arrogant attitude.
It baffles me that something dangerous like this can happen and no one there seemed to care and act as if “oh, whoops, we’ll just fix that real quick and get you on your way”, especially when we have a 1 year old child and my wife pregnant with another in this vehicle and I could barely get it stopped or keep it on the road while braking. I was just met stand offish as if I shouldn’t be in a situation like this. I wanted them to make it right by fixing our now damaged wheel (while not of a safety concern or terribly cosmetically damaged, still very disappointingly damaged due to their neglect) and maybe some power steps installed as the vehicle was pictured and listed as having power steps, but later realizing they had been removed to prior damage they had. I was met with a cocky snide remark on how that would not be of relation to my brakes being left loose on my car (read that sentence again) and they would only repair what they screwed up on the car and that’s the best they could do, however they couldn’t even repair the wheel that was damaged due to their neglect.u
Considering what just happened you’d think that would be more than fair. I really like the vehicle so I kept it, but every green dodge sticker will come off and I will make sure I let everyone know not to deal with them. I wasn’t so mad about the situation until I was met with crappy attitudes from each manager and almost treated as if I was bad guy. I bought a vehicle that was poorly repaired multiple times and still kept a pretty good attitude, but somehow was treated as if I was just the biggest inconvenience.
I can’t believe I’m giving this place the time of day, but I hope this saves someone else the headache and I hope this reaches higher up so they can address the poor management and customer service of their departments.
I would also like to mention our sales person, Mathew, was great throughout the whole process and seemed to be the only person who even said sorry about this and what can we do to make it right.”
