“We had a FANTASTIC car buying experience here. Cameron and Kevin were both fantastic and super helpful. During the paperwork process, Janae was awesome! Great employees and a streamlined buying process! Hopefully I won’t need a new car anytime soon, but if I do, I’ll be back! I came here because multiple of my friends had great experiences and I was glad to see that this was true. No pressure at all from the salesmen and they were really helpful for the test drive portion.”

“Me and my mom and my brother have been going to Carmax for 10+ years. We’ve gotten multiple vehicles from them. My brother actually worked for them for a while and it’s always been a good experience until my last car which was my dream car. I’m a single mom of three and it took me a long time to be able to try to get this car not Even two weeks after I got it it rained really bad and my entire inside fullbore was completely soaked. I called them, took it in there. They said that it was the top ordered the top and unfortunately, I had a family emergency out of state with a family member that ended up in hospice. I had to leave the state to be with her and asked Carmax multiple times if it would be OK if I dropped the car off when I got back in the spring they reassured me. It was totally fine multiple times come back in the spring called to set up an appointment drop it off. They tell me they sent the top back. it’s no longer the top. It’s the seals and that they cannot find any so basically I’m burnt. They said they would contact me if they found any that was two years ago, my car is destroyed. It is ruined and I’m still paying $400 a month on a $28,000 car and they have done nothing to help. I tried to give the car back they wouldn’t take it. I’ve never been so disappointed and devastated in my life. I worked so hard to be able to afford this car and the lack of compassion they have is sickening me and my mom, my brother, nor anybody we know we’ll ever go to Carmax because we already know that if anything goes wrong, they will not fix it and we will be burnt just like I Am a look at the inside of my car. It is completely ruined. The moisture will not stay out of the car.”

“I have had nothing but bad experiences with this car max in Spokane. I went in 2 weeks ago attempting to get an answer on if my co-signer could sign from another CarMax location and they said word for word, “it’s too much of an inconvenience so we just don’t do that” and attempted to get me to ship the car even though my co-signer was unable to drive to the Spokane area. Today 2/09/26 I ended going all the way to Seattle and driving 4 plus hours back to pick a car up the car I wanted (8 hour trip). The Lynwood CarMax informed me they sign paperwork from multiple locations all the time and said I shouldn’t have been given any issue over it. I picked the car up and saw the tires had dry rot and cracking in the front tires and was the original tires from 2021 when the car was sold new. The Lynnwood team informed me to bring it in to the Spokane location when I get back due to them not having any appointments available that day. On 2/17/26 at 2:40 PM, I brought my car into the Spokane location and showed them the picture of the large crack and tire with the dry rot and she said it looked more like a slash and gave me a weird look and said, “we will leave that up to the technician to find out”. They looked at my tires and replaced the windshield wipers but refused to replace the tires. I asked why? And they did they couldn’t even find the crack I was talking about and said the 5 year old tires that came with the car when it was sold in 2021 new that has 44k miles on them have plenty of life left in them. I showed them the crack and they both said oh well we must have missed it while checking your tires and said it was still within CarMax standards and gave me my keys and pretty much said they aren’t gonna do anything about the lemon tires they sold me. It also felt like the mechanic didn’t even check my tires properly and just gave them I quick look over instead of actually inspecting them. Overall I had a great buying experience with the lynnwood CarMax but the Spokane location has been horrible, I will drive to Seattle or even Idaho location before I ever step foot back in the Spokane store.!!”

“Had an appointment today to buy a truck and had an awesome experience! Our sales associate was Jake D. and he was super kind and patient (we had to bring our young babies with us and transfer car seats etc and we took awhile to look over everything). The entire process was smooth and Jake even warmed the vehicle up for us before our test drive. This is the third time we've purchased a vehicle here and we will continue to come back. Thanks Jake for all of your help today!!! Also. If you are trying to see a specific vehicle it is really easy to go to the website and make an appointment to buy or test drive. Highly Recommend.”

“Tony is great! Got the price of fixing my car down from roughly $1200 before taxes to $501, he's always really kind and has always tried to get me the best price when I get my C-Max fixed here. I will probably never really look to another mechanic, they've never once tried to upsell me or overcharge me. Tony and the whole service staff is great!!”
