“terrible experience. absolutely terrible. it took them 1 whole month to get approval from the warranty company for repairs because they were AWFUL at following up - in this length of time, i spent $1.2k on a rental i now have to fight reimbursement for because, despite being without a car from december 16th, the warranty company only sent the approval january 9th - and the dealership did not NOTICE THIS until A WEEK later. the warranty company sees this as not their problem, and the dealership does not care. even then, after i dropped off my rental, it took them TWO WEEKS to get me a loaner car, and another MONTH to finish repairs on my car. in addition, i dropped off paperwork for a repair i had the day prior to my car - $600, covered under warranty, will need reimbursement. the service advisor took my paperwork, LOST IT, and now i have to jump through hoops fighting for THAT money, too. combined with the final balance i had to pay at the time of pick up, i am out $2000 for a repair THAT WAS COMPLETELY UNDER WARRANTY. this dealership is a joke. management is a joke, too - it took me DAYS of calling for john to even return my call, and when he finally did, he said he "left it in the hands of the service advisor." ARE YOU NOT THE MANAGER? i would give zero stars if i could. this dealership has done me so dirty and made ZERO EFFORT to help make things right. abysmal.”

“I was able to work a good price on a used SUV. The attention was good and the vehicle was in good condition even though it was "as is" and it had its details such as a cracked windshield they could have done better as I spent 10K on the car, not chump change. The disappointment just came in their attention to no detail, they didn't even did the oil change (I just changed it myself and it was black as dark chocolate) nor they even gave me a full tank of gas, as I said I spent 10K on the car. I was going to purchase another one cash and they didn't hold it for me. They could have done better, even for the customers that are not buying brand new vehicles.”

“Adam Karim is Exceptional—The ONLY Reason We Drove 90 Miles!
I cannot recommend Adam Karim at Glassman Auto highly enough. After my car was totaled in an accident, my daughter (an automotive engineer) and I embarked on a critical search where safety and economy were paramount. We are a very tough, research-oriented team, having visited dealers all over the area.
Adam stood out instantly. He didn't use pressure; he built trust. He was thoughtful, empathetic, and virtually immediately responsive, which was a welcome change from other dealers who constantly "blew up" my phone. He truly sold us safety and reliability, making sure we felt comfortable after the accident.
Our decision to buy a Subaru was cemented by our research, but our decision to drive 90 miles from Saginaw to Southfield was based 100% on the relationship Adam forged with us. He is an outstanding professional and a massive asset to Glassman Auto.”

“Glassman Automotive kept my vehicle for eight days after I brought it in for a transmission warning light and an airbag light on a used car I had purchased from them a week and a half earlier. I had installed a backup camera and a new head unit, nothing beyond standard straightforward work. Their technician diagnosed the issue as a failed sensor and charged $480 for the replacement. After waiting more than a week for the part to arrive and be installed, the vehicle was still not functioning and the transmission light remained on.
At that point, they quoted an additional $1,100 for a complete shifter assembly, insisting the entire shifter box needed to be replaced. I declined, took the car home, scanned it myself, and immediately found a simple voltage fault on Line B caused by a fuse. I replaced the fuse, and the vehicle was fully operational within seconds. The technician at Glassman would have seen the same voltage fault but chose not to address it and instead attempted to upsell an unnecessary repair.
The experience was unacceptable. Communication was poor, especially with Michael, and management offered no resolution. Although the car-buying experience itself had been positive, the service department’s handling of this situation was careless at best and predatory at worst. I will not return, and I strongly advise others to avoid their service department.”

“I agreed to a deal with this dealership, and the terms were provided to me in writing. Shortly before I was set to make the 2.5-hour drive to complete the purchase, the salesperson called to inform me that the deal had changed, despite my having already placed a deposit. The change amounted to a $2,100 difference. Since I had already arranged time off work and planned the trip, I decided to proceed with the purchase. However, the last-minute alteration to the agreed terms left me concerned about the dealership’s professionalism and transparency.”
