“I took my 2020 Kia stinger to rotate tires and check air pressure yesterday got some more recommend work done paid over $300. I've been coming to this location for a few years now. This used to be my favorite service department department. The service guy Randy didn't even talk right. They lost my wheel lock. I always keep my wheel lock in my trunk. They lied and say they use a universal lock. That was a lie because my cover that covers up my spare was messed up. They were in my trunk getting my wheel lock. I know where I keep everything at. I usually work with John but another guy was my service advisor. Y'all need to check your car before you leave there. THEY JUST LOST A VERY GOOD CUSTOMER...I WILL GO SOME WHERE ELSE TO GET MY REPAIR. I DIDN'T EVEN GET MY MILITARY DISCOUNT. This company don't call or text with no recommended services to get car fixed.”

“Never been to a Dealership that was so unmotivated to make a sale like this one. We were in search of a used Kia SUV. We drove over an hour after seeing online that they had a few SUVs in our price range at this specific location. Although the sales guy was very Nice, we could tell he was fairly new as he kept going back and forth to his manager with questions. It was very obvious that the manager didn't care to take my daughter serious and kept trying to sell her a brand new Kia SUV even though we made our price range very clear. We showed them the SUVs we saw on their website, at this location and all they could really say was "they are in our overflow lot, and can't get them." They then brought out a fully loaded SUV that was way above her budget, I'm assuming to convince her to purchase the more expensive vehicle. Again, we told them what specific cars we were interested in but the manager didn't really care to show us any other vehicles. It felt like the only sale he was willing to accept from us is if we bought a newer vehicle. Who doesn't want to make money whether its a new car or a used car?? We finally decided to continue looking elsewhere since it was obvious they were not going to show us the vehicles we were interested in. As we were leaving they finally said they could have the other cars available on the weekend but they didn't even bother to follow up or call us when the weekend came. The following day we made it out to North Park Toyota where we were able to purchase a beautiful SUV that was within our price range without any issues.”

“After an awful experience at Ancira Kia on Bandera, I was a bit hesitant going into a new dealership. As soon as I drove up to the front, I was pleasantly met by JJ. He took care of all my needs, listened to each want of mine and worked diligently to make sure I understood each part of the process. He respected me as a first time buyer, offered me a great deal and made sure I understood everything about my vehicle before I drove it off the lot. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone in the dealership was so excited to support me during my purchase. I am now a proud owner of a 2025 Kia Sorento and I couldn't be happier with my experience at World Car!”

“Buying a car is a decision that is made with a little fear but with great excitement and I am very grateful for the experience I had with this group of people who made my purchase an exceptional moment. The knowledge, patience, and attitude of my salesperson was a great advantage when I decided to buy my truck. I congratulate that dealership for training its salespeople and I want to thank my salesperson, Mr. Eduardo, for his performance. In short, MY BEST EXPERIENCE WITH WORLD CAR KIA SAN ANTONIO 100% recommended!!”

“I recently purchased a used certified Kia Forte from this dealership. Initially, the pricing seemed fair. However, the experience took an unexpected turn after I completed all the paperwork and went to pick up my car. I immediately noticed that the paint on the front grill was noticeably mismatched and splotchy compared to the rest of the vehicle.
Concerned, I took the car to a professional detailing service, and they confirmed that the front grill had been repainted and was not the original factory finish. While the Carfax report showed no accidents, upon closer inspection, it became clear that the grill had likely been heavily polished, which had masked the paint issue during my test drive. It appears that the dealership's wash prior to my taking possession removed this temporary cover-up, revealing the poor paintwork.
Naturally, I was quite upset to discover this issue on a vehicle sold as 'certified,' which I was led to believe meant it was in near-new condition despite the mileage. I returned to the dealership and spoke with the sales manager, appealing to them to rectify the situation. To their credit, the sales manager acknowledged the problem and agreed to have the front grill repainted. While I was initially disappointed this occurred, I appreciate their willingness to make things right, and I ultimately left feeling satisfied with the resolution.
However, a significant downside to this purchase, and one that mirrors experiences at many other dealerships, was the excruciatingly long and inefficient paperwork process. Despite being in a hurry to finalize the purchase, I was kept at the dealership for at least four hours. The process was so drawn out that I became visibly frustrated, pacing and repeatedly stating my disinterest in any add-ons to the finance representative. This part of the experience was truly brutal and needs serious improvement.
Overall, while the dealership did eventually resolve the paint issue to my satisfaction, the excessively long and stressful paperwork process significantly detracted from the overall experience. I would recommend this dealership with the caveat that potential buyers should be prepared for a potentially lengthy finance and paperwork phase.
The photos show the car with the bad paint job.
Update: Within 1-2 months of purchasing the car, the right front headlight stopped working. I was concerned because the car is too new for the bulb to have burnt out. I took the car to a dealership and they replaced the bulb, but the dealership told me the headlight was not an OEM headlight and it looked like the car had been in an accident. The wiring connector to the bulb had melted and caused the bulb to burn out. Repairs would have been on the order of $1000 to replace the bad wiring. I took the car to World Car Kia and they fixed the car free of charge. While this has been the worst used car I have purchased, I do not think that World Car Kia did anything maliciously and they are doing everything they can to keep me happy. Ray, the used car sales manager, is fantastic. Without Ray, I am sure my review would be very different.”
