“We were trying to replace a kia sedona, one owner, car faxed serviced, low miles van, lost from wreck with uninsured faulted driver. Before we went, because of recent events with other dealers adding on hidden service fees, i asked Sandy if anything would be added on to the asking price along with normal sales tax, title and document fees and was assured that "no we do not do that". When discussing closing the sale with Kenneth, a congenial and helpful professional, in showing us the closing costs, he added $1499.00 to the closing figures. Not acceptable. He could leave it off but anything not a safety issue would not be fixeded. When we went back, we were verbally told the brakes were done and steering was checked. Last year we had a similar purchase at McKinney Honda and they gave us a report of the check and what was done for free and the cost to them internally. At finance closing a service warranty was offered and each time our response was negative it was lowered $1000. The interest rate on 2 excellent buyers was 10.49, we said no and it came down to 8.14. The Salesman gets 5 stars, the dealership not so much. Not as transparent as we have been treated elsewhere. The promised 177 point check seems to be negotiable. Is this really how you want to be recognized by your clients?”

“My 23 palisade with only 30k miles had the battery light on, replaced the battery and it was good for about two weeks. Then the light came back on, plugged up the battery and it was good but said it was 0% charged so that lead me to maybe an alternator or starter. Wouldn’t start so got it towed to the dealership on I-10, Eddie was our advisor, who was extremely condescending. He said I had a bad battery and needed a new one, I told him I just replaced it and they need to look more into it, it’s under warranty!! Ultimately they found “nothing” and I paid the diagnostic fee. The very next day, MY CAR WOULDNT START and all the icons on the dash were on. My wife and sick infant were stuck at heb and once again, had to get it towed back to the dealership but this time it went to the 410 location where the service manager took great care of us, apologized for everything and got it fixed in less than 24hours. The fuse box blew, replaced under warranty and we’re all good to go. I called the first dealership back to get a refund for the diagnostic fee since clearly there was an issue with my car and they sent me home knowing I have littles and ended up getting stuck at the store. The advisor told me no, essentially it was our fault there could have been something lose on the fuse box that lead to that. I’d understand if he was empathetic or even apologized but instead he talked to me like I was an idiot. If you have a choice, please go to the 410 location. Much better service and communication!!!”
